What's your opinion of the non-bianary argument and allowing people that claim it or being transgender to participate in female sports?

I listened to a symposium on this.

One is born with either XX or XY chromosomes. One can change their appearance and claim to be something different but it doesn't change what nature has made. That is neither anti or hateful; it is simply stating what is.

If I draw some lines on a canvas and create a beautiful painting. Someone might walk up to me and ask what the curves and tones mean.

I might say: it's about a happy feeling.

But another day I could say the painting is about anger or something else.

It doesn't make the statement untrue because the subject is abstract.

Gender conversations have some similarities but at the end of the day when we're talking about sports, the term male and female aren't abstract terms. They're concrete, measurable and 99% of the time, absolute.

So a biological man playing in a woman's sport is not only disrespectful to both genders, it's dangerous and unfair.

What upsets me the most is woman aren't doing nlanything about it. Which probably has a lot to do with the lack of popularity woman's sports typically have.

I don't know, it's super uncool. Makes me kinda not want to watch woman's sports.

And because it doesn't make it true I dont have to believe it. My view is that Men and woman are what they are born, you can't change that just because you had surgery or change your clothing. As for Sports, Id be ashamed if i was those woman who agreed to this. How many woman in history had fought for rights of woman to compete in sports and now we just hand the awards to the men lmao bunch of idiots.

may generally be true, it is not universally true.

"When" it is my child is quite presumptive. If I had children, which I don't, nor will be, then mathematically the chance of that happening isn't enough for me to worry about anymore than encephalitis or any number of other conditions.

Logically, that statement is false due to the existence of humans who do not have solely XX or XY chromosomes.

Therefore, any logical deductions made from this false premise is logically invalid.

The assertion made based on that false premise is:

Yes, it's correct that it doesn't change what Nature has made... but what Nature has made isn't necessarily solely XX or XY. Thus, for those individuals who are not XX or XY, they will do what is appropriate for their condition.

The questioner is asserting that people who claim to be non-binary are simply acting non-binary, but they are binary. The fact is that reality - that is, the reality dictated by Nature - is such that non-binaries exist. Thus, the non-binary humans are not acting but are simply trying get through life like the rest of us.
