It seems like the Oct 7th attack has unleashed hell on Hamas and the Palestinians. I am neutral in their disagreements and can see both sides but this attack has had disastrous consequences and in hindsight Hamas look like idiots in how and what they did.
My guess is, they never expected a reaction where Israel would go all in. Previous punishments were limited incursions or air assaults, where some local commander and his cell might have been killed. Now with 80% of the Gaza strip destroyed and 30.000+ Hamas fighters KIAed and POWed, it's probably dawning on them how drastically they miscalculated.

From what it sounded like they thought it was a good thing to kill Jews. Maybe now that they are getting payback they regret it.

No they predicted Israel would retaliate and Israel is completely justified in doing so.
But also:
- Hamas militants are deep underground bunkers and well supplied. They are well protected from air strikes
- Hamas intentionally uses innocent civilians as human shields knowing the mass media would cover it and blame Israel
- Accurately predicted that the growing leftist radicals in western society would defend them
This is all part of a long game of using gaslighting to brainwash people into hating Israel and Jews in general.Hamas is hoping to hold out as long as possible to turn public opinion against Israel. It’s working too. When you got Down syndrome people chanting “gays for Palestine” slogans then you know we are beyond hope. Those same people would be thrown off buildings if they suddenly found themselves suddenly in the Gaza Strip. It’s beyond insane but this is what our world has come to. People inviting their destruction for woke credentials.
Silly loaded question. You could just as well ask if Israelis regret slaughtering Palestinians given the consequences they faced on October 7th.
Ultimately, Israel is an illegitimate state that was carved into existence by foreign powers and maintains its existence thanks to many trillions in foreign aid.
I don't believe Hamas regrets the 7th Oct attacks because their ideology is based to harm the so called zionists for mistreating the palestinian people for decades. In hindsight I believe Hamas regrets not being better mobilised to take out more Israeli civilians.
No- the net result is pretty much the best they could hope for. They're not called "terrorists" because people don't like their goals; they're called that because the wanton slaughter of innocents is all in a day's work to them. Israeli retaliation is just going to harden Palestinian resolve against them, and ensure the struggle never gets abandoned.
Mass murdering terrorist totalitarians never regret killing people, even their supporters. And Hamas has made it very clear they'd do it again.
Keep in mind that the death toll would have been the equivalent of around 48,000 killed in the 9/11 attacks.
They weren't all "Jews" and it probably wasn't 1200 either. Also Israel has killed and imprisoned a lot more than that pre oct 7th, hence the Hamas retaliation.
Dimwits seem to think history started on Oct 7th
No they do not regret it and Israel have given them carte Blanche to do it again. That is the unfortunate thing with terrorists they do not care about collateral damage and deaths.
I think it was exactly what they were angling for, knowing that if they launched a horrific military assault on Jewish people it would force Israel to respond military.
No. 1. Cockroaches typical have the good sense to scurry and hide. 2. They're motivated by hate. I really doubt someone who heart is filled with that much hate ever learns a lesson.
nope
