I think if we could use maps to look up people’s last year IRS filing: 1) Ambition would be raised, and 2) IRS would become like Facebook profiles and the government wouldn’t be fckin broke.

I pay way too much in taxes since I’m single and middle class, I only take home a little more than half my gross after deductions, it’s not fair the rich pay less than me so I wouldn’t want anyone seeing mine because it looks like a lot from the gross amount but so little afterwards
You might be right 😊
The rich do not pay less than you.
@PreferNot2Say ask Trump , he knows how to
They get a lot more deductions than I can, they only pay more than me because they make more but percentage wise it’s different though, more of my income goes to taxes than theirs does, I don’t own anything to deduct unfortunately
That's cuz they actually have more legal deductions. Trump hasn't broken any tax laws. He just knows how to work within the legal limits of the laws. Trump Trump Trump Trump 😂. Trump isn't the source of your problems, the laws are. So stop trying to make Trump the criminal. He said he wanted to clear up the tax laws so everyday people could actually comprehend the laws, instead of all of the legalese that people can understand, but your demokkkrats threw a fit. Geez I wonder why they did.
@PreferNot2Say I’m not a democrat, I’m a conservative, I was using Trump as a good example of someone who knows how to make the laws work for him, I’m hoping Trump gets elected
Ok my bad
@OddBeMe At least one disagrees. Two, if you count the civil case.
There's literally a deduction for yachts.
"If you own a yacht or superyacht, chartering it will allow you to declare it as a personal business, which is required for Section 179 eligibility."

Abso-FUCKING-lutely not! It's nobodys business how much someone makes. Raise ambition? Ambition isn't always a good thing. Too many people know too much about other people already. Our government wouldn't always be broke? That's a completely ignorant statement. Our government obviously isn't broke if it's sending billions to other countries. Our government already gets plenty of money that they don't legally have the right to take. Income tax was supposed to be a temporary thing for a few years. Our government has a spending problem, not a shortage of money. Let's start with stopping retired members of Congress getting the same paycheck for the rest of their lives. Make them plan for retirement like everybody else has to.
You sound like a COVID vaccinated Biden voter. That's not a compliment.

in most companies they are, or the top half of staff
that is not an excuse for ruining privacy. in contrast we DO have anonymous salary polls at websites. but not connect amounts to person.
What salary negotiated between a contract employee and the company is confidential information and is usually based on the persons skills and knowledge, making this public knowledge would mean little to others.
NYC you have to list the title and salary range in want ads so it's pretty easy to compare by looking at want ads and a longevity multiplier
@DrPepper12 If they advertise a vacancy then that's true , but if they 'head hunt' someone then what they offer that person in Salary/Terms & Conditions are held as confidential.
Even headhunters have to disclose range. What anyone is actually hired at is private tho.
Seems you're new to the internet, and don't know how fraud works...
Nope. Salary records are private information and are therefore covered by data protection rules. Even publishing pay grades could be problematic.
Simples...
Absolutely not true. Public salaries are well, public! Private salaries are ez to get a range for a specified title at private companies
In NYS every govt employee salary is publicly posted. Do you mean private employer?
Or the reason people fight to keep their tax records private is cuz, it's nobody's fucking business. FOIA doesn't apply to private individuals.
Maybe everyone's browsers search history should be public also. That way we can see what kind of depraved fucks we live next too. I'm sure queen @DrPepper12 would love for everyone to see what he's looking up to diddle himself 😂🤣😭
@PreferNot2Say funny you should mention that! I just discovered that you can designate a "digital executor" to handle all your shit after you die and that most internet things have an option for either deletion or an heir after death! Kinda practical and creepy a at once!
Stupidest question of the day.
You are my odds on favorite for tomorrow also.
Do not let me down. I know where you live.
no, unless you work for the government.
