There are so many young Americans in my generation who cannot afford homeownership or even rent for that matter, living at home and barely getting by. Job instability is on the rise, and the cost of living and economical burdens are debilitating. Young men are facing a loneliness crisis right now unlike ever before. Young generations cannot afford to have kids right now.

The United States demographics were hugely and predominantly non-Hispanic white. That number has been shrinking more and more, and people from poverty-striken nations continue to ship into this country.

I feel we are in the brink of an all-out civil war. God help us.

It's more like proof that the minimum wage has to be increased. It's at the lowest point it's been at for three generations and hasn't increased for 15 years. Republicans always vote against it.

Another thing that should happen is legislation and enforcement to stop price gouging; hedge funds are buying up homes and boosting rents. Landlords are using software platforms to fix prices. Having 4-6 companies controlling the lion's share of any market (like meat and dairy) means they can boost their profits at the consumer's expense. Harris and the Democrats are planning to deal with that, while Republicans lie and claim it's price fixing.

I am not proud of everything of the past, but societies evolve overtime, and even events that occur today will be shuned over time. I highly doubt Native Americans would want this chaos that is happening today. Also, I have been on social security disability benefits. The earnings are not enough to afford even a 1 bedroom apartment. Of course, those who receive disability benefits can apply for section 8 housing, but there are long waitlists and concerns over safety and stability.

I worked with lots of amazing black people for 30 years at my job and was very good friends with many.
I interacted with hundreds of blacks and other minorities as a field adjuster in the Los Angeles area from 1980 to 2000. They were really cool.
I am color blind toward race and had no problems.

I saw the progress this country had made since the end of segregation.

I and my Democrat friends supported BLM when it first started up and was about police racism and brutality. But when BLM got hijacked, I moved on while my well off, retired, latte-liberal, Democrat friends jumped on the "white privilege" bandwagon, started studying Robin Diangelo, and acting like segregation never ended.

I think the Democratic party and outside forces started cynically stirring up racism over 10 years ago to divide America. It certainly wasn't to unify the country.
