u 1 yI think he is an idiot, but not because of this idea, but because he spent millions to get Republicans including Trump elected and is now pouting they took his money away. Best case scenario for this is he puts in a normal republican candidate that draws votes away from a republican MAGA and they both lose to someone more progressive or a libertarian. Tired of the same shit from both republicans and old school democrats.

Trump can't run again and people are dumb and greedy. They can be bought just like they did when Elon paid for Trump to win last time

Trumps talking how he thinks he can run again. I hope not

Own party is a good idea. What he did before, especially those specific salutes on stage, this was completely idiotic. Now they will use it against him if he gains too much support.
I think Musk is slightly schizoid or antisocial, he has high deficits in emotional intelligence that makes him. He is a tyrannical boss who falls often in tantrums and appears childish clumsy in the public, because he gives a f... and when you want be a party leader you can't give a f... Elon has the money, but wants the power as well. He's willing to split the Republicans to get it.

1.1K opinions shared on Trending & News topic. I wondered why he would campaign for Trump in the first place. He is the owner of the biggest electric car producer in the country and he was helping the candidate that would reverse Joe Biden's electric vehicle mandate in favor of letting people decide for themselves what kind of vehicle they should buy. I wondered if he realized that the electric car will never be the mainstream vehicle in America and he was more excited about sending people to Mars.
I am sorry that he decided to turn on President Trump. I think he would be better off working with him rather than against him.

Probably headlines.
Anything is better that what we have. Both the democrats and republicans.
Have played out there hand
They showed us exactly who they are right in front of our faces While they are flipping us the bird telling us they cabin do what ever that want when the want. I' mean look at trump passes a tax bill that screws all of us. And him and his rich buddy's just keep getting richer. If we gad good elected officials all of America would be wealthy.
I guess what his new party stands for Is it gonna start out corrupt or can it eventually just work its way there like republicans and democrats?
And is he doing it for real reasons. Is he doing it because he's tired of all the Corruption
Or is he doing it to pull votes away from the democrats And republicans because. Trump daughter will run next election10 Reply
11 moWon't work. You have to have a revolution to break up the 2 party cartel. A 3rd Party will only ensure Democrat victories, since 3rd Party voters are typically libertarian or anti-government even more than the Republicans.
Don't get me wrong, MAGA and the blue collar working class are the same people revolting against the elite who have screwed up everything basically since 9/11 (although the roots of our problems go back further). So there is a constituency for a 3rd Party, but you just can't bring them together.
00 ReplyI still don't know that this is just some stunt Trump and him cooked up for some reason.
If ever, now is the time to start a third party but it would have to be the right kind of third party. The GOP is far too right now with Trump and the Democrates are far too librial. We need to have a balanced party that can be supported by those not off the deep end of either party. IMHO that is the only way it would really work.
As for Musk, I'd love him to start a third party as he's just as right-winged as Trump. All it would end up doing is splitting the party and hand victory to the librials.24 Reply- 1 y
there's no daylight between 'em

@Sabretooth that's why all it would do is split the party.

unlikely. Musk overestimates his power.
1 yI think he is an innovator with all of his "space" stuff. However, other than that, I think he uses poor judgement. I mean to think that Twitter was worth $44 billion is just absurd. It isn't a large enough platform to generate the income in advertising to even begin to pay for that. And what is his intention on forming a separate political party? He is a kook.
20 ReplyTrump all ready tried that and decided to just join a party. There are already other partys that exist but you haven’t even heard of any of them, thats how unpopular a 3rd party is. Like trying to creat a new basketball team and you not even in the NBA or any part of the industry. You most likely Going to fail
00 ReplyPolitical science 101. To destroy a 3rd party, simple adopt one or more of their core tenets as your own. Why TF would I waste my vote on your long shot, 3% having ass when I can just get those guys to legalize weed?
Voila, party destroyed. Lolbertarians know how this works.

1 yThere is no doubt that Musk is a highly gifted individual. The fact that he wants to launch a new political party is a bold move that might end like one of those exploding rockets at take off. But if he succeeds like a successful rocket launch then you would be asking different questions here.
10 Reply804 opinions shared on Trending & News topic. Even his dad said he's retarded. Sooo yeah. Who the fuck else can take a multi billion dollar company that's successful and growing, and runs it into the ground in months? Well, besides Trumps dumb ass.

1 yAs long as "third party doesn't matter" is still chanted by the idioticly groomed majority, and the 2-party regime keeps manipulating & abusing the voting process, it won't matter if there is 5 new parties made or 200 new parties, it's pointless.

This is a playground tiff. This is Musk saying you stand behind me or you stand behind him. Power grab of maga.
01 ReplyThe uni-party has so much control and power that it may not be possible to have a viable second party. Regardless, Musk is a genius.

1 ywell he tried directly paying the president to get what he wants and it didn't work so that's just the logical next step.
10 Reply He might be able to do it, but he'll never get anywhere with it. I'm actually kind of in favor of it because all he will do is drain support from he who shall not be mentioned.
