It will be visible in the western United States. It begins at 3:00am and will be a total eclipse (blood moon) by 3:30am on Mar/3/2026.

No, I will not because of 3 distinctive reasons.

1. I am fast asleep by the time it should be visible in the US and

2. The bloody moon has decided not to be visible in my area and

3. The expected cloud cover will prevent me anyway from having to set my alarm clock and to interrupt my sleep.

All in all, 3 very valid reasons why not to watch that blood moon. But don't worry, there will be plenty more of them to watch in the next 50+ years.

While you guys are going to be grumpy all day for having had to get up at 3am, I am going to have my beauty sleep and be fully rested for the day.
