Should I buy an electric zero turn mower now or worry about fire risks?

I have been leaning towards getting one but Fires in Garages are a concern. I know they are making them safer. Trump is going to run world out of Gas.

Ha. I bought one of those but the battery was shit, barely did half my lawn. So me being the stubborn asshole that I am, built my own battery and bms system. It now charges similarly to an electric car and barely uses a quarter of my battery to mow my lawn.

They’re only a fire hazard while being charged, but they’re fine in the garage if you’re not charging them, that’s usually the only time that there’s ever a problem with any type of electrical vehicle or device if there is going to be a problem

Well it's slow but as long as the sun keeps on shining. I got that sort of dependable real slow. I've used those things on a boat. You know it's a constant fight to keep up up with the demands of your gear. One day of overcast is enough to ruin your entire week.
