No. Its a tried and tested excuse for the military industrial complex.

Goes back to the bomber gap in the 50s. The US military industrial complex was claiming there was a huge bomber gap between the USAF & Soviet union. Of course the Soviet Union was happy to go a long with it because yes there was a bomber gap but not that the Soviets had more bomber than the USAF but the USAF had more bombers than the Soviets, a lot more. Why even for their mayday parades the Soviets had their bombers circle endlessly so it appeared they had a huge number of bombers when in reality they had only a handful. The US military complex knew this but the bomber gap lie served a purpose, thats why today there are still so many B52s in service.

The bottom line is that regardless of the iran war or Ukraine war or syria or Israel/Palestine/Lebanon the US military is replacing or upgrading almost every cold war era design weapon system or equipment they own from the humble M16/M4 all the way up to the f15& 16. The largest military spend since the 1980s.

The US has not been in an allout conflict in 165 years since its civil war. Thats just shows how powerful the us military and economy actually is.

You see, all of this was based on Israel's machinations back in February that "it will all be over in a week or two"

Hence the US and Israel fucked around and found out as a result.

Right now, the USA and Israel are buying back a lot of the inventory they sold to other countries, as the US and Israel have run too low.

But that is not the real problem. The real problem is that Iran has chocked resources and money for the US and Israel. So they are running out of money and borrowed credit faster than they are running out of weapons.

You see it's not called the "petrodollar" for nothing. No oil and no dollars means you get a fat nothing. Iran is chocking both, making it more expensive for the USA and Israel to buy back weapons, oil and finance their debts.

So the real war is not being fought with weapons, but with finance and supply chains.

Hence why Trump is begging for a "deal" and Iran is not. Iran knows it can starve out the USA in due course.

Yes.
After billions of $ in U. S. radars and command and control infrastructure got destroyed, it was blinded. As a result, Iranian missiles and drones couldn't be tracked and destroyed as easily.
Iran acquired very sophisticated systems that can track U. S. aircraft and target things on the ground with pin point accuracy.
Plus it is true that the U. S. used a lot of weaponry that can't be quickly replenished.
And Iran still has an endless supply of drones and sophisticated missiles.

The U. S. lost the war big time.

Military experts had advised against it, but Trump ignored them and, instead, was swayed by people like Netanyahu, Miriam Adelson, and war hawk morons Hegseth, Rubio and Lindsey Graham who know nothing about war other than the fact that they love slaughter and devastation.

But, faced with reality, Trump is now trying to figure out how to find a resolution to the military and economic disaster and save face.

No, but apparently the U. S. army ran out of Patriot interceptor missiles, wasting them on cheap drone swarms and are now getting interceptor materiel and expertise from the Ukrainian army. Which is very ironic. And of course, Trump will get more desperate to announce any type of deal, the closer it is to the 2026 midterm elections.
