Lebanon is a great example of what open borders, and weak willed leaders can lead to.

Just a short quick point not to think I am a troll, check all Arab media today of how Shia followers in Lebanon are cursing 'Hezbollah'.. the militia that represents them 🤷‍♂️. You are in a totally different planet. Also, Palestine is easily a trend for people to use, so a trap or test of truth and awareness. As we say in Arabic سهل ممتنع. Maybe 'Deceptively simple' in English. I mean fundementally clear, but details can be complex. Anyway, the more you search, the clearer it gets. It is clear indeed. It always feels cloudy when there's someone with a good intention badly performing, or some traitors being displayed or presented as part of it. All facts are there, just need a lot of reading. Of course many live in neighboring nations. The fact they refuse refugee status is the proof that many nations are concerned with security risks and damaging relations with Israel. They openly support the cause, while developing relationships with Israel. Many also recognize the severe security risk provided by them. Palestinians have a history of create islamist revolts, not just in Jordan. Most nations have dropped their demand for the destruction of Israel, and have instead opened relations.
