Where were you when the 9/11 attacks happened?

I was in my junior year of high school, heading to my 2nd period class (study hall), when the first tower was hit.

I heard some teachers talking about it, and once I got to class, they had the news playing on the tv. The rest of the day, none of us did anything in our classes; we all just watched the news all day.

The whole school was just eerily quiet all day. Nobody talked. It felt like nobody even breathed. Everything was just hushed and still.

On the Road to Work. I was on 195 between New Bedford and Providence, RI. when the radio was activated and I thought it was fiction.
