Ah, this is certainly a rough situation...

You do know you can do all the same shit you do for Valentine's day any day if the year. The sooner you stop succumbing to societal pressure to follow suit with what you're told you're supposed to do with you're own life the happier you'll be. And if you just pick another day later in February it won't be hard to get into and it'll be half the price. These holiday cultural norms are so forced. Most of the shit people do now they only do so they can tell other people they did it. And those people you tell don't really care. Which , by default, makes that kind of life meaningless. So get some chocolate and some roses and relax
He was never excited nor genuinely wanted this special date.
Only a toxic partner will cancel important and special events that happen ONCE a year.
Also, he acted very childish instead he should be GRATEFUL that you looked after him.
He doesn't sound like a good partner in the 'long term'. If I were in your place, I would have told hin to STFU and get lost.
If he did it out of spite then you're better off getting a new boyfriend, anyone who is willing to hurt you or do something to upset you out of spite is no good, behavior like that will only lead to a toxic relationship. I have a ton of personal experience with dating someone like that.

There is another part to this story that you haven't told us, perhaps a part that you aren't even aware of, but this kind of behavior generally has an explanation that's not open and obvious. Like maybe he has already decided to break up with you and is looking for a good time to tell you.
very childish of him. is he talking to you or just ignoring you? on another hand valentine’s day is just a day like any other day but canceling plans for such a stupid reason is ridiculous I would show him I’m upset with his behavior.
You should spend Valentine’s Day with your friends or your family and show him that you can be happy without him if he has not your maturity. If it hurts him maybe he will change, but it is hard to change.
Also you should depend on someone who hurt you deliberately. He's being a moron. Your concerns are entirely justified. The idiot should have been grateful that you showed up. What he had is on the list of symptoms. Honestly, he sounds like a spoiled little brat.
Masks don't stop viruses from passing through, you do know that right?
If not, watch this SHORT video below (remove the spaces in the URL)
https://www.bitchute.com/video/LA2tPGXLqOvy/Sounds like he overreacted. Give him a few days without talking to him to cool off and reflect on his actions. See if he comes crawling back.
Sounds like he was just looking for a reason to cancel the date
Be grateful he's gone and don't answer texts or the phone.
His behavior was little bit bad. He should be happy that you even came to him and tried help. I think it was bad idea to cancel this date. He shouldn't act like this..
When people are sick may not be thinking their best. Try to makeup and communicate to work through what happened.
If this is an accurate and comprehensive summery of the facts, it sounds like he's being a big baby. But we're only getting your side of the story here. Just saying.
Maybe he was just bent out of shape because (I'm guessing) he had the shits that usually come with a stomach virus. I'm sure we can all agree that diarrhea is no fun. Otherwise he was just unnecessarily overreacting.
He's an 'ass'... YOU are trying to keep you BOTH as healthy as circumstances permit.
He's probably an anti-vacc'er too! That's is his plan just to cancel the Valentine's day it is a childish act
His loss, maybe he needs to recover as well. Tell him to get well soon.
When my Mom cared for me while I was sick I showed her nothing but love.
I think you might need a new boyfriend.I would wait just a couple of days, talk to him, and see if he changes his mind by himself.
I would tell him I felt really bad about him cancelling that plan. He’s flipping out over nothing. I think you need to reconsider whether he’s the guy for you.

Is he better now? If so then that goes on the checklist of strike one three strikes and you’re out
