Curious who do you think should text first on Valentine’s Day?

Just curious if you’re dating someone do you expect the guy to do it first or guys do you expect the girl to text you..

It’s Valentine’s Day and you haven’t even gotten a text? From the man you are investing romantically in? Unless it genuinely does not matter to you (and I don’t mean trying to convince yourself it’s no big deal) then this is just not ok. A man who’s really into you would want to make it known and would do something to show his affection. He doesn’t have to do anything extravagant, but even the lack of a simple date or a FaceTime/phone call if you’re unable to be together in person I find disappointing and very telling.

Well not yet. We have kissed but we haven’t made it official even though he thinks it’s official. I told him he hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend and that I need a title. So even though we both like each other yes I think he should text me. I also got him a few things for Valentine’s day so even though it’s early I say the guy should make the girl feel special

Absolutely! I say wait to see if you hear from him today and if you don’t, get rid of those gifts and be done. If he’s serious enough to make you his girlfriend then he can get you a card, some flowers, a phone call, something! I’m sure you wanna give him your gifts but why? To reward his bad behavior? Trying to celebrate just a little bit even if he won’t? It’s degrading, you can do better and should set a higher standard for yourself
