What does it mean when a girl drunk texts you?

Question

Girl I like and have been connecting with and talking to for the past few weeks first apologized to me if she drunk texts me later  Because she was going out. Then later that night texts me "Hiiii". And then about a week later sends me one telling me how drunk she is. lol. Does it mean that she ins interested and thinking of me? Or could it mean nothing?

it could mean that she likes you if you know she is the type to not do that to any other guy.

Unlike me, when I mass text stuff like "happy Valentine's day! hope you have a great one!" I usually do it to everyone on my list because I had 1000+ texts in a month and I just wanted to use them all.

I did this to my best friend's boyfriend who had a crush on me before he dated my best friend and he told me right after I texted him happy Valentine's day, he broke up with my best friend. I don't think it was really my fault... because I texted it to everyone. It did NOT Mean anything special to him. My best friend knows it, but she told me she broke up with him because he was super controlling and always wanted to know where she wants and wouldn't allow her out. So it wasn't because of me... but I think it was partly because of me because of the way he told the story. He made it seem like he made it more of a bigger deal than it really was that I texted him "happy Valentine's day" right then and there... and then they broke up. um... but that's his fault for making it a big deal when it wasn't.

Usually when I text people to go out for my birthday or to hang out, I text everyone on my list and I know some guys who liked me might have thought it was just to them... but it isn't. hahaha...

Just blabbing... if you KNOW she only texted you then maybe yes, she thinks of you and likes you but wants to use drinking as an excuse to cover it up. But if you know she texts everyone, then probably not.

Speaking from personal experience 😅 pretty sure she likes you. Once I did it because I thought this guy was super cute and I'd wouldn't stop talking about him to my friends so they encouraged me to text him. Luckily for me I deleted it straight away and he didn't see any of it

I think it means she likes you 😆 Based on my experience as a female drunk texter, the only person I would text when I'm drunk is the guy that I like/have a crush on. I would really say what I was thinking, the things I wouldn't dare say when I'm sober.

If one of my female friends text me when she is drunk, I would think somewhere inside of her brain, she finds comfort in communicating her thoughts and feelings to me, if she doesn’t do it when sober. So whatever she has to say to me, is just the flood gates opening all the way and everything being told as is, without any filters.

However, whatever she says to me, whether it is a confession of love, absolute jealousy, anger, frustration, stress, a secret hate for me, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter too much. To me, that’s just her venting without barriers.

One time, not long ago, someone whom I haven’t spoken with for a long time, texted me. She was a bit delirious in her texts. I think she was either on meds or drunk. She told me some bottled up emotions, most of it had nothing to do with me. A little bit of it did. A few days after that, she called to apologize and we talked for about 4 hours. I gave her closure, after that little SMS rant she sent me.

And that was that. I continued life as I always lived it. She was just someone from my past and I helped her get some closure.

yes, it a good sign, that you make sure if she is drunk she is safe and if she is outside or on pub, get you wheels and take her to either her home or your home, and tuck her in bed so she can get a good night sleep and then next morning enjoy looking her in her hangover and her walk of shame and tell her, "Dear, nothing happened."
So she can feel proud again before she leaves you..

But if she drunk text you she likes or loves you

Women want attention. If she's drunk texting you then whatever she's doing while getting drunk is boring her enough to hit someone up... hoping to flare up some chat. (probably in one of those awkward social situations where you're supposed to be looking social and having fun or your friends will give you shit for not having that fun, but the phone provides a way out).

It's not nothing, but don't assume you're the only dude she hits up hoping to chat for no reason. If she's chatting with you a lot in general or just during the drunk phase random hit ups, should tell you how much she's thinking of you and when.

Typically it mean she is interested in you if she is really drunk find out where she is... if she out at a bar or someplace similar get in you vehicle and take her back home either your place or hers and tuck her into bed and then wait around until she wakes up and she does the walk of Shame then reassure her that nothing happened so she can maintain her dignity and you can be her hero for coming to her rescue by saving her from drunk driving plus if you have her favorite hot home made breakfast prepare all the better 🤣

Possibly, Damien, possibly.  It's possible that she loves you like a brother, too.  If she's drunk and thinking of you, she must have some sort of feelings for you.  The best thing to do is talk to her, and get her to hang out:)  Also, this is more of a Behavior question.

Yeah man, I'm gonna speak from first hand experience and what I've seen over the years.  If a girl ONLY calls you/texts you when she's drunk she doesn't care about you when she's sober.  Trust me on this one.  It's sad but true.  Either try calling her when you're sober and if her behavior is a complete 360, then forget about this girl or don't answer her texts/calls when she's a wastecase and see if she calls you the next day, sober.
