Well, there is this guy and I don't know him well but he is so HOT! I've known him for a long time but I don't know him personally no more! Well, my friend is pretty much obsessed with him and I don't know what to do.
She has also known him for awhile and she also thinks he is hot! Anyways, I keep wanting to call or text him but I don't want her getting mad at me because she wants him so bad and we are really close! We have known each other our entire life!
So, I'm afraid if I start talking to him that she will think I am trying to take him from her. Which I do want him and I don't want her to have him! But I don't know what I am suppose to do! Because she gets really mad easily and when we get mad at each other, we stay mad at each other.
So, I don't know what I am suppose to do because I want to get to know this dude so we can date? But I don't want to take him from her because that would be wrong. But they aren't dating so I don't know. I just need some advice!
He's not her boyfriend, which means you can try to get him too. Hopefully she won't have a problem with it. But, sometimes that's just the way these things work.
This is one case where you'll have to choose between the guy or your friend, because it sounds like you can't have both. Is this guy whom you don't personally know worth losing your friend over? If not, you might reconsider...
Well think about what your saying is this guy really worth your friendship?Talk to your friend let her know how you feel ant tell her what you want..But don't throw your friendship away..so Good Luck..member that there will be other guy out there..And even better..
Okay, my best friend and I had pretty much this exact same problem about a year ago. We both liked the same guy (although I knew him better than she did, but we were both friends with him) and although we had only known each other about 4 months at that point, we were definitely best friends. We were freshmen, floormates at college, and we hung out together pretty much 24/7.
We just talked it over, because we decided that our friendship was WAY more important than any guy. We both liked him, so we decided that we would both continue hanging out with him and let him decide if he wanted to ask either of us out. She's a lot flirtier by nature than I am, but we decided that we'd both just be ourselves around him and let him decide. Ended up that neither of us dated him, but we both moved on. And the point in all this is, she is still my best friend, and we're still just as close as we were (if not closer!) even though we don't live together anymore.
So, my advice is this, because this is what I did: Talk to your friend about this situation, and lay down some ground rules, and agree that as long as both of you follow the ground rules, neither of you will get mad at the other no matter what this guy decides to do. Promise to each other that your friendship is more important than the guy, and that you won't let him get between you. I've seen so many close friends get split up over a guy, and I would hate for it to happen to you!
i like this guys and I'm not 100% sure but I think my best friend likes him too She knows how much I like him so if he likes her to and asks her out...
