I have had this "thing" with a guy for about 2ish months. we both really like each other but its going so painfully slow, we haven't even hooked up yet. I can't handle the slow pace at which this is moving. Also I don't understand why if he likes me he won't just ask me out? It makes me wonder where I stand. Advice please!

It sounds like he is unsure and is not ready for a relationship. He probably just wants to have a bit of fun and spend time with you as a friend and see where it goes from there.

You are both still very young and have plenty of time to worry about relationships and remember guys take a lot longer to mature/grow up compared to girls.

Also it is a modern world - us women can now ask guys out and they actullay like that and find it a big turn on. If you like him that much just go ahead and do it and I'm sure he will say yes. if he does not say yes then you can try and talk to him and find out why. If he is not willing to talk then he is not interested and it is time to move on.

Just have fun with your friends, enjoy being young free and single and you will find someone else.
