How does an over weight girl get a normal sized dude?

It's harder (I won't lie.) But it does happen! I'm heavy due to a hormone problem (and no it's not "easy" for everyone to lose weight!), but my boyfriend is attracted to me as I am! Are there guys who'd never look twice? Sadly, yes. But I really don't need those guys. I just need one who is able to love the person that I am. I'm lucky to have found someone who loves me, not just "in spite of" my weight, but who finds me more attractive than I do myself. Will this boy see past the weight thing? No way of knowing. But if he doesn't, it tells you something about him. I used to be really thin until my hormones went nuts and I had a lot of guys. Now that I understand more, I wouldn't want someone who wouldn't be okay with me as I am now. It's okay if a guy isn't. (I prefer really smart guys for example, and that's my preference.) We all have preferences for different types of people (funny, smart, athletic, ambitious, attractive, successful, or whatever). The idea is to find someone whose ideal type is YOU! And you have LOTS of time to find that person. The high school years are really hard, but in the end, whether you date 100 guys when you are young or never get a single date all through school, most people eventually find someone to love. Just be the very best you that you can be. And if you get yourself healthier, good for you! And if you never lose an ounce but are a smart, kind, and generous person, then that is also good for you! Don't let the world tell you that you only have worth if you look a certain way! Is keeping a healthy weight a desireable goal? Of course it is! But it is harder for some than others and having been both very thin and pretty heavy, I can tell you for certain that I am still the same person. I'm still as deserving of love and dignity. Some people find it hard to believe that. But you know what? I'm surrounded by people who really love me, and that's the most important thing. And you can have love by being a loving person, whether you are 90 pounds or 300 pounds. You may not get it from everyone that you'd offer it to, but it will come back to you, I promise. Worry a little less about this particular boy (hard to do, I know) and just work on developing relationships in general. Be the best person you know how to be, so that when you look in the mirror, YOU like you. Whatever your body shape or size!

Lose weight. It's sad but young boys only care about looks when they are that age.

Don't lose weight for the boys though. Do it for yourself. It will help your health and your self image.
