Guy uses a lot of smiley faces?

One of my ex girls friends once told me this was her method of trying to flirt with me through text messages but I thought it was kinda stupid ironically that's how I broke up with her lol. It really depends on the guy I have guy friends who send all kinds of smileys on text and other friends who have never sent one. You could ask someone else how if he sends lots to them to that way you could see if he is just doing it to you or it's just his personality. There is also a sorta unwritten text rule like the one lol per message rule, saying a smiley must be placed in a sarcastic message. And some times a smiley is just a lot easier then saying somethings.

It probably means he's mentally constipated, or only semi-literate, or both. If he owns a car, it's probably festooned with bumper stickers, and he can probably recite the words to every current McDonalds television commercial verbatum. If you ask him a question, he'll probably respond with a question, and if you were to meet him, I'm certain you'd discover a glazed, empty-headed demeaner usually only noted in diseased farm animals. Much can be gleaned from the overuse of smiley faces.
