How to talk about nothing?

Question

When I see a girl I know at break what do I talk about?

When I'm talking to a girl on the phone how do I keep the conversation going for hours?

When I'm talking to anybody anywhere what do I talk about?

I just don't understand how to have a conversation when's there's nothing to talk about!

Listen to the conversation already in play and jump in like you're running the show - here's some examples ::

Surroundings - weather / temperature / activities in the area

" God it's cold today, let's sit in your truck "

" Man I am loving the weather *look her up and down* Your looking great today "

" Hey I know we don't talk much, but your very attractive to me. Wanna go see the new XMen movie? It's the last night it's showing "

Basically you are just assertive but a gentlemen... As my grandfather taught me - you are a "real cowboy" when you're speaking to a lady. You don't have time for bullsh*t and cutesy crap, but you get straight to the point as polite as you can.

yea its a big dilemma. If the convo stalls jsut say "How bout that local sports team" haha. Its diffcult you jsut gotta try and find something and build on it. If the girl is interested she;; try and respond to anything you say no amtter how lame, shell jsut wana talk, that's what I've found neway.

I would say, talk about things you have knowledge of, and she would be interested in.  Invest in the conversation so that she feels like you want to know about her, rather than talk about yourself.  It always feels like there's nothing to talk about, but it's only because you think she/he/they are above that topic, and that by saying it, you will not get an interesting response.  You will.  Go out on a limb and make an attempt, just be positive.

Ask questions about herself. Some women love to talk about themselves. Then talk about yourself as well. Its OK to be yourself around women...but just try not to limit the conversation to only one topic. List the things that you're interested in, and then discuss them.

Talk about anything. Anything that interest you or something you'd normally talk about with your friends. The only thing that's change is that you now have one audience and perhaps a different tone. Learning to talk to a girl is not cold hard math. It's simply a case of being casual and relaxed. In other words, be yourself.
