How do I tell him his breath is kicking?

Don't sweat it. just tell them. they shouldn't have a problem with it at all. when stay over my girlfriend's house I always tell her in the morning "I can't kiss you until we brush our teeth because it feels all gross and disgusting." and she's actually the same exact way haha.
