I brought it up stating that his breath bothers me, especially after he smokes…but I’ve realized it’s more a consistent thing.
How can I go about addressing this in a nice way? Wording wise.
If he brushes regularly and it's still an issue then either he has problems with the tonsil area (tonsil stones), an imbalance of bad bacteria in the mouth, a problem with the tongue (not brushing or scraping the tongue), or he has some other issue. All of which breath mints are unlikely to help. They may mask it for a few minutes. Our dental health reflects much deeper than just that, it's about how we see ourselves.
See my post here to what he may need to do:
Well for oral breath issues, brushing flossing and scraping your tongue are all helpful. There might be something going on that requires a dentist visit, so maybe suggest that.
For body odour, often saving a trouble area once or twice and cleaning the skin with disinfect can resolve the issue. Make sure he's doing laundry regularly and cleaning his sheets.
Occasionally body odor can be a result of dehydration, certain foods and even underlying health conditions.
If he still smells bad to you after taking the above steps then it might suggest a genetic incompatibility that your animal instincts are warning you about.
Hope it helps, cheers

Seems like it’s all about sex to you. If you have a problem. Bring it up to him. But seems like it’s only about sex so…..
Make a habit of frequently using breathe mints and offer him some. If that's not working tell him how much you hate bad breathe. Not his, just people. If he still ain't getting the hint, when he goes to kiss you and he's close, stop him and say what did you eat? Your breathe stinks.
I don't know what the problem is. Whether he doesn't brush thoroughly enough, whether he eats a lot of breathe fouling foods, or whether you're just over sensitive. But you can approach this sensitively and incrementally without offending him by taking those steps.
That’s great advice! Thank you! Yeah it’s a sensitive topic, and I thought it was just me for a bit, but even my friend mentioned it when we went out. And he brushes regularly, so I don't know what the situation is :-/
The mint thing is cleaver so I’ll try that first. :)
I was told (not sure if there's any truth to this). That when brushing take the toothbrush and brush your tongue as well. Because food will coat your tongue a bit. I've just always done that. Because I've always assumed it would cause bad breathe. Also I love onions and garlic. Those I know will give a person dragon breathe😆
Leave him for a beautiful woman
