To put it into a more relatable way... men seeking women on dating sites is like job searching in a five mile radius.

There could be ten women that are all perfect for the guy. But she's likely getting a hundred messages a day.

Where as with women seeking men. You have all the choice in the world. Having said that, I understand how much more creep-filter and BS you have to work through.

It does make sense. It really shows you how unattractive you really are. No action online, don't even bother asking someone in person. Odds are it won't go well unless you're hot.
