this girl I'm good friends with says she like me, but is afraid that if when we break up eventually, it will ruin our friendship. how can I convince her if that won't happen, but what if it actually does?
is it better to have something then lose it, or to never have it at all?

Personally, I think it's better to have something a loose it. Seriously, like is one big risk. That's what I've learned so far. There are NEVER any guarantees, and just when you think you're making an "educated" calulated move, the results turn out to be different than what you expected.

Tell her that you don't want to look back and wonder "what if" concerning your relationship. If you are really good friends, you will forgive each other after a breakup, and move on as friends again. If your "good friendship" is actually just an easy way to date without really dating, then when you breakup-it will likely be over.

The question is, are you two really just "good friends", or are you already seeing each other in an unspoken fashion? If your friendship has always included an element of real attraction, I say make it an honest relationship if you're both willing and up for the challenge.

Question Asker Would it be a good idea to discuss this with her seriously? - More than a year ago
Answerer If she's a good friend, you should be able to discuss anything with her-especially how you feel. - More than a year ago
Question Asker Thanks, ill try that - More than a year ago
Question Asker Another thing, is it best to start a casual relationship then "make it official"? or is it best to just dive in? - More than a year ago
Answerer Really, I think only the two of you should judge that. That's something you should def ask her if she she agrees to a relationship with you. Some girls would rather it be "official" while others would rather just take it slow and see how things evolve. - More than a year ago
