Why do skinny guys go out with fat girls I mean what attraction is there? I'm not exactly shallow but like the thing is the guys are cute/hott but the thing is they can do way better then with a fat girl an deff not with me either I'm a high standard kinda girl so this didn't happen to me or nothing but I'm just curious as I do see it in school and all the time whenever I'm out in town. it can't be a physical bond could it? or maybe a emotional bond? but like I don't get why skinny guys wouldn't like a girl you know around there own physical fitness level or even remotely close.

Why do skinny guys go out with fat girls? There could be a number of reasons. Here are some:

1. Some guys may not want a "skinny" girl with no softness or curves. They may find a curvy girl more sexy. In Brazil, for instance, that is standard.

2. Fat girls tend to have bigger breasts. Is bigger important? What's important is that a girl a) has breasts, and b) gives the guy access to them! Bigger ones just draw more attention and fascination initially. They may be just a little bit more fun to play with, but let's face it, that's usually only about 5% to 25% involved when it comes time to play, anyway.

3. Fat girls generally don't get as much attention from guys, so when they do, they are more appreciative. ("Fat girls need love too!") This means:

A. Better chance they will be nice, friendly, not stuck-up, not bitchy, will laugh at the guy's jokes, etc.

B. Less chance of rejection, and if they do reject the guy, it doesn't sting as much ("Oh well, she was fat anyway.") I know that may sound mean, but it's true.

C. More likely to want to do something sexual, since she probably doesn't get to as often. Or, less likely to resist sexual advances. Is this due to a lower self esteem? I don't know, and again, I know this may sound mean, but it's true.

4. A girl can be fat and still have a pretty face. In fact, she could have an extremely pretty face. But because she is fat, other guys may pass her over. A guy who normally could never get such a pretty girl suddenly can, and adores looking at her beauty.

5. Just because a guy is skinny doesn't mean he is good looking, or funny, or nice, or has a good personality. Maybe thin girls don't like him for other reasons, but a fat girl is willing to go out with him because she is not getting better offers.

A couple of other thoughts. I think people have lots of traits that make them desirable, or undesirable; "fat" is just one of many. Who would a guy choose, a thin bald girl, or a fat girl with great hair? A thin bitchy girl or a nice fat girl? And on and on. Also, "fat" is a relative term. How much overweight? Is the girl body proportional, toned or flabby, healthy or out of shape?

Also, I've seen girls responding defensively, "That's not true; I'm fat and my boyfriend loves me," etc. Well, you aren't a guy, you aren't in his mind. He obviously noticed you were fat but chose to pursue you. It's also obvious that there were reasons he stayed with you, and you with him; clearly you both have good traits.

I'm a great looking guy and I'd rather spend my time with a chubby chick who makes life fun instead of some skinny bitch who thinks she is god's gift to man. High Standards is another way to say shallow bitch with an empty head who judges people on vanity. If that's the best you have to offer others, then that be suffice to explain why the bigger girls are with guys and your not.

If you have to say "I'm not shallow" then insinuate that someone is worth less than another person based on their appearance, I have news for you.

I'm fat, and well aware of that. I'm also engaged to a soldier in the army. We've been in a serious, committed relationship for far longer than any relationship based on appearances will go. The weight has fluctuated on and off me, and yet he's always been supportive and actually prefers the fatter me to the skinnier me.

Don't tell people how to love, or that they can "do better" than the person they're in love with, because I can assure you that I could say your "high standards" man deserves far better than shallow arm candy whose looks will inevitably fade and cause her to be depressed. Get off your pedestal.

As a very skinny and short guy, its simple, most girls want a tall guy and don't pay attention to guys like me. typically unattractive girls are the only ones who pay any mind to guys like me. While I usually do well at find attractive girls the fact of the matter is simple.

Unattractive girls are more likely to date a average guy

Hot girls ONLY date HOT guys

average girls mostly date HOT guys, and sometimes give average guys a chance when they mature.

So it only makes sense that average guys are gonna date unattractive girls as they are less shallow and usually more fun...however ugly guys completely get the short end of the stick...

My friends and I have all concluded its easier for an unattractive girl to get a hot guy, than it is for an unattractive guy to get a hot girl...and they say guys are shallow...

It's all a matter of personal preference. Don't assume that everybody else find the same things attractive as you do. Some guys like other guys. Some girls like both. Some like skinny, some like fat. Doesn't matter...

It's a shame this girl can't ask a question without being attacked. Since when does having standards, and thinking that you're attractive make you shallow? I can't answer her question since I'm not a chubby chaser, but I can say that this can apply to any preference someone has for the targeted interest. Just like how some girls only date bikers or how some guys only date blondes. Anyone who says physical features don't attract them to someone is a liar. The persons looks pull you in and the personality keeps you there.

Also to the girls and guys saying skinny girls are mean, shallow, lack self-esteem, and have no personality you need to get out more. I've met lots of chubby/fat chicks and guys who cheat, get involved with someone who has a significant other, are back stabbers, attack others self esteem because they lack there own, and criticize there significant other if they gain weight. So don't pretend it's skinny girl or guy thing. Humans in general do this. Not all but some.

Ummm I am a "fat chick". And honestly, I have some questions. However, I really don't care. It's about who you are as a person. If you're hot and thin and a bitch, you're ugly. Period. I have a been dating recently and I am always worried about my weight on a first date. It's usually not as big of a deal as I think it is. They're attractive and smart and fun to be around. That kinda sounds like "why is water wet?" to me. Guys would be attracted to fat girls because all secondary female sexual characteristics involve the accumulation of fat in particular places. Being curvy is a prerequisite for being sexy. Skinny girls are basically no different to children.

You want total honesty. The main reason I dated girls that were in less good physical shape than me is I figured they would be less likely to be hit on by other guys and easier to get in their panties. More often than not I was successful. Like I told a few friends, some of the best sexual experiences I had were with girls you wouldn’t think I’d ever give the time of day.
