The best Christmas gift I can give my boyfriend is time: time away from my blackberry, laptop, and demands of my job. It has come to the point where my job is my boyfriend. My real boyfriend and I barely get to see each other anymore, and when we do we are distracted by our cell phones, email, facebook, text messages...etc. This Christmas I'm getting caught up on my work so that for ONE WHOLE DAY I can disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with him. A night without cell phones or laptops...we will make dinner together like we used to, open a good bottle of wine that we couldn't afford before, and truly enjoy eachothers company. We will have the type of conversations that we had when we first started dating....face to face conversations, in full sentences- not txt. I will tell him I love him without using a 'less than' sign and a three. I will hold his hand across the dinner table, because it won't be holding my cell phone. I will hang on his every word, because I won't be distracted by my text message ring. He will have my undivided attention for a whole day. There is nothing at the mall that he could deserve more. Of course I could buy him a new macbook because I have claimed most of the hard drive on his. I could replace the iphone that he broke while he was putting together my ikea table. Or maybe gift certificates to our favorite Chinese takeout because we are never home to cook a decent meal. Those are only things. My time is someting that can't be bought in the mall. It is more precious than anything, and we all have it to give. So I'm asking you, can you afford to give your time to the people you love? Can you, for one day, put away your phone or computer and really spend time with the people that deserve it? I'm sure they will appreciate it more than that sweater or video game. And who knows, maybe they will do the same for you.

A nice spa gift set or jewelry will be a nice Christmas gift for a girl. For a guy, I think gadgets work - my hubby loves the newest gadgets.

My husband and I exchange hand written cards and then we get each other a gift as well, something that means something to each other.
By susansmoaks   Over a year ago
Every person is different so you really have to know what their interests are. I would be wowed if I received a gift certificate for my favorite book store or a collection of paperbacks from my favorite author. Fishing or camping items are at the top of my list to buy. Every weekend that is nice is spent out on his boat or at the river.

I got my boyfriend gift certificates for fuel and car washes because he just bought his first car and is crazy about it! =D
By dan007   Over a year ago
I got my boyfriend a coffee mug because he loves coffee and it say his name on it and on the back it has a quote that I have told him since we started dating "if I got a star for every time you made me smile I would have every star in the palm of my hands" and then I put little pieces of paper I made in it that say free massage..free date...free kiss...and different creative things :]
By monkey_12   Over a year ago
The best gift is something that shows you took their interests into account and put a lot of thought into purchasing a gift for them. Generic gifts such as cologne are boring. Framed pictures or a collage of pictures of the 2 of you together are great gifts.
By sl1038   Over a year ago
Pictures of you both and one can gift those in any form to the other. or the gift which one wants to have so gift him/her that thing...
By mamta_dhir   Over a year ago
Lets see girls like something that shows you were thinking of her & shows you took time think about it. it could b different for every girl, but I guess for me I would say sum killer heels. lol but for a guy the best and my opinion is something like a gadget if that's what he is into, like and ipad or the new smart phone.

I think that the best gift would have to be something that not just anyone else can get them and something that they really want. I would ask them if they could do anything in the world, what would it be? or what's the number one thing they want to do before they die; then make what they want happen. Anyone can easily buy them a gift they would like but to be honest, over the years they won't even remember what they got so I think that by doing something like this for them, it would be something that they would never forget, and would give them a chance to spend more time with you and for yous to make more memories together rather then buying them something that can be replaced anyway.
By Chelseax3   Over a year ago
I think the best gift would be to have inside a box a note for them to pick a day that would be "their" day! They can pick what to do, what to eat, where to go, etc. Sometimes, it's just nice to have a "me" day with someone else without the hassle of asking each other "What do you want to do?, Where do you want to eat?""
By surfsidescooby   Over a year ago
First I would call her up and tell her she means everything to me. I'd read her a passionate poem and tell her everything we're doing today. Then I would pick her up, give her some flowers, and take her to a movie. After that we would stop by the mall and I'd let her pick up a couple things that she wants. Finally, when I take her home I'd give her a small pink box. Inside would be any jewelry she desired. This would be my present for her.
By DJxMurderxThem   Over a year ago
I would take them out to a nice dinner and give them a $100.00 Starbucks, $100.00 itunes and a $100.00 Giftcard to their favorite bookstore. If I don't have enough money for that I will make the gift cards for a smaller amount of money what I can afford. I know I would love to recieve this as a gift what do you think?
By wendon1   Over a year ago
Just be with the guy, that's enough. Say you're glad to be with him, show him respect, give him a hug and a kiss.
By gatorgalen   Over a year ago
1. a big cake
2. a vibrating **** ring
3. a picture book of me (and some with him)
4. champagne
5. Christmas love coupons full of sweet, romantic, erotic and variety of stuff

For my boy friend I took him to a zoo that had elephants, sence the local zoo didn't. it was 7 hour drive, but I made the whole trip fun, I had given him 7 difrent things to unwrap, a camera, bateries, a burnt cd, a photo jurnal, and some other things. it was the best xmass gift he said that he had ever gotten, but it didn't end there, once we were leaving I had given him the news that we were having a baby.

Well, my boyfriend is extremely ticklish, so I got him boxers that have elmo on the front, and they say tickle me on the back.
I also got him a picture frame, and it has a picture of me & him in it.
& then the classic, hersheys kisses.

Get him something simple, don't try to overdue it. No boyfriend wants to feel like their girlfriend got them a better gift then what they got their girl.

My boyfriend told me to get him something creative that would remind him of me, and I think I did a good job at that. Just get him something simple that had a good meaning. If you guys have a special inside joke, get him something that will remind him of that. Bake him some goods, no guy can resist sweets from his girl. Or, just put a big bow on yourself and tell him to come unwrap you ;)

A perfect gift for a loved one would be something that they can keep and cherish throughout the years. It should be meaningful and come from the heart. A great idea would be a love recipe cookbook. This book will be your book, a book of the moments and memories you two shared. It would start with a page about your significant other. You can fill it with pictures and quotes. The second page would be your page, full of your pictures from when you were younger to your current pictures. As you continue with the book, fill the pages with things that you 2 shared. You may include everything and anything. Some ideas would be concert ticket stubs, movie tickets, menus from restaurants that you ate at, funny quotes that you guys said, etc. Each page will be connected to one another by a plus sign. At the very last page, there will be an equal sign leading to a picture of the two of you in each other’s arms.

The best Christmas gift, for a significant other, is one that comes from the heart. My mother passed away when I was 11 and it has bothered me for my whole life. So last year my wife went to my Uncle, got a picture of my mom, took it and had it blown up and put an expensive frame on it. Then she wrote an amazing poem about it and had it framed too. She gave both of these to me for Christmas. When I opened them I was in tears. The best present I've ever received.
By chrsschb   Over a year ago
I think something that comes from the heart and shows you put thought into it. I like getting unique things that no one else has, so I really enjoy going to things like craft shows. I think a piece of art you think they would like would be really great. Plus you can both enjoy it :)

A guy I once new gave me some spongebob doodles, I love spongebob. It wasn't for Christmas but it meant a lot because it came from his heart and it showed he knew me. So I think the best give is something that shows how much you notice, listen, and care about them. Basically something from the heart.

Im getting my boyfriend a solar powered wireless keyboard. The battery uses the energy it stores from light gathered via the panels it has, and when it has no solar energy to pull from, it uses energy from its 3 year battery life. My boyfriend has a dual monitor, so he turned his TV into a computer and now he can operate it from his bed all nice and cozy.

I think a gift that would be great for a girlfriend for Christmas, is an envelope pillow! I've made one before so they are real. (I know it sounds cheesy ^_^) But it's an average-sized pillow shaped like an envelope with a pocket in it. You can put letter's and notes that you and your boyfriend have passed back and forth. And you can sleep with it and read through the letters at night! It can even have on the front "To: So and So" on the front to make it personal.

I think for either a boyfriend or girlfriend the greatest gift is something that you made yourself. Maybe for a girl..it can be a necklace, that you strung and put your own time in for her...and for a guy, there are almost endless possibilities!! Even adding some artsy bits to like a photo frame with the two of you. Origami can be romantic, making cranes for your loved one. But anything home-made shows that you don't just go out and buy some material thing for them but that you really care by going the extra mile for them!!

I don't think any girl will say no any sort of giant stuffed animal, like a diverswatch, watch, dessert or dish, a photo album

For my boyfriend I had two years ago, I gave him a home-made dark chocolate heart. I had spent all night shaving chocolate with a sharp knife and had a few cuts on my hands from it seeing as I'm so clumsy. Knowing that I spent so much time and effort really touched him and he still considers it to be the best present he ever received. Especially since, when he finished half of it, he found the fortune cookie I made and placed inside of it. There was a note inside the fortune cookie. That is where I wrote my love for him.

Whatever you give to your special someone, make it. What is more loving than giving them something that you poured your energy and heart into.
Merry Christmas! <3

For this girl I liked, I found a little cardboard box and glued sea shells to it, so many that it covered the box. She really loved to surf. And then inside I made a card and put a picture of us in it. She got a picture of us and a new jewelry box. :)

This Year I got my boyfriend a copy of the movie Inception. I put it in a colorful box with an assortment of movie candies and popcorn. I themed it entertainment and made sure added a home made card. I figured this was a way that my boyfriend whose always bored and or very stressed could relax, and it was something we could do together.

It needs to come from the heart. Think about the person you are with. What do they like and what are they into. If you have been together for awhile then you already know this and it'll be easy. If not then pay attention to them. Find out what they like. I suggest getting them something they don't have a lot of. If you can figure out what they like, and what they always get or have a lot of and don't get them that, then you will get them the perfect gift that they will love. And guess what it usually doesn't have to be expensive because they will love that you know them so well.

Last Christmas I got my boytfreind a diverswatch. I spent days looking for just the right one at the right price. I spent around $200.00, and it was well worth it. The face was big, the band was silver and thick, and it just looked like a manly watch. It was beautiful and he LOVED it!

The BEST Christmas give for a boyfriend would be to purchase major football game tickets, fly him to the city with his friends with a intinery to have guy fun and they stay the weekend
By dava3   Over a year ago
When deciding what gift to get, don't think about something they need!! Think about something they would like and enjoy! That's what gifting is all about anyways! I mean, who really wants something like a microwave for Christmas anyways?!
Truly think about what items make them happy, comfortable, excited, etc. If they're a sports fan, fathead.com has some awesome gifts! They have almost every sports star possible! It's a very cool idea!!!
If they are business-type people, think about a really comfy desk chair or comfy mouse pad!
A lot of couples like to give keepsakes to each other. Only problem with that is trying to figure out how to make that certain keepsake special! Not to worry, there's this beautiful necklace at hallmark stores that you personalize yourself!! It's a clear circle lock box with diamonds around it. Then they have this big case full of all kinds of different stones to put inside of the necklace!! There's one that says love, ones with puppies, kittens, people, birth stones, and much more!! It really is beautiful!!
No matter what you get your significant other, you should always include a card. There was this one thing that me and my boyfriend do that I always look forward to where we create little passes for eachother! Like "good for one massage," or "good for a foot rub." These were always special and so so much fun!
Good luck & Enjoy :)

A boyfriend would appreciate a homemade holiday card, an illustrated book(about love is a plus!), a fun gadget, and a variety of bath goods! I'm talkin' bubbles, bath salt, those fizzy bath balls, etc. I would emphasize on aromatherapy and ofcourse, I would not forget the softest robe he has worn yet.
What kinda lover would not enjoy the creative and playful nature of a homemade card and a child's book? Most guys are intrigued by electronics, why not give him a gadget that'll impress not only him but his buddies as well? The icing on the gingerbread is most definitely soft talk and stirring up intimate fantasies as he unravels a basket of bath goods that can be shared together in the same steamy tub on a cold winter night. This will end the holiday season with passion and contentment, I'd say.

The best Christmas gift for a girlfriend would be a customized charm bracelet with different charms showing what person you think she is. The different aspects of her personality should be reflected. It's very personal and special.

For a boyfriend:
*If he has hobbies or special interests, take time to do those things with him, make it special by taking him to the best places they have to offer.
Tickets to his favorite game or concert tickets to his favorite band.
*Show him how much you care by spending time with people he cares about the most, like his siblings or parents.

For a girlfriend:
*Make her breakfast in bed and take her to her favorite place; it could be anywhere.
*Make an effort to get to know her friends and family and spend time with the people she cares about.

The first present should be a warm Christmas kiss.
The best Christmas gift is a gift that can call out your romantic memories back. And, love, of course!

I think or a girlfriend it would be a beautifulll custom made message in a bottle with red rose petals on the in side with a beautiful poem written by her boyfriend and a necklace with a heart and key pendent. one she keeps and the other her boyfriend so that she knows that she will always have the key to his heart.

for a boyfriend: it would be to let him listen to a love message that is aired on his favorite radio channel followed by a his favorite romantic song. then you give him a custom made card and in it a custom written poem.then you have a romantic dinner on the beach. after dinner you feed him a desert of strawberries dipped in melted chcolate while sipping wine under the stars.
