Allow me to put it into perspective. Average height for US males is 5'10. You are only an inch away from that. Most shoes have enough rubber or sole on the bottom to make up that little difference anyway. Seventy percent of the female population is considered to be petite, which means they are anywhere from 4'11-5'4. You are 6 inches taller than the average girl which makes you incredibly tall and only 1 inch shorter than the average male. I'd say, the odds are ever in your favor!

5'9 is okay for me but guys shorter than that tend not to interested in girls my height so I tend to overlook them.
