My first serious girlfriend had a very dominant personality and it didn't really work out. We dated for a year and in the beginning everything seemed to be fine but the longer we stayed together, the more we began to experienced cracks in our relationship. In reality, only our naive, pubescent love kept us together for so long. We weren't compatible at all because we constantly got into each others' "territories". We both wanted to decide how things work, we both wanted to "wear the pants", we both smartassed each other, we were both very stubborn about our positions and so on. Usually it was me who gave in at the end and let my girlfriend call all the shots because I loved her to death and I was terribly scared that she would leave me if I caused too much trouble. I swallowed my pride but I wasn't happy in that position. I'm not a submissive person, so I hated the fact that with everything I tried to decide for us, my girlfriend ended up having the last word on it. This was the case even for very small stuff. For example if we had to go somewhere and I looked up a train for us to take, I could be 100% certain that she wouldn't like it and make a different "suggestion", which she expected me to accept as the final decision.
In the end, she broke up with me anyway. I was insanely sad, even more than when my grandma died a few months later (I know this sounds crazy but I had really been in love a lot). Cat Stevens was so right when he sang "the first cut is the deepest".
Looking back, it was probably a good thing we split up. It's a miracle we were together for a year. This thing we had would have never worked properly. We were like two positively charged magnets pushing the other one away from ourselves.
I absolutely love dominant or "alpha" girls in the bedroom. When it comes to sex, you can really be my queen and do anything to me and I'll love it. But in every-day life, I need a girl who is either a little submissive or easy-going enough that she just doesn't have any strong preferences and doesn't mind following mine.

I think they're wonderful and if I ever have a daughter, I'd like her to be one, but maybe not compatible with me: dominant/submissive dynamic, yin and yang, unless they are alpha only in certain contexts.
This whole alpha male/alpha female thing is not really present in human beings as our social strata are much more complex than that. That was a phenomena observed in wild pack animals, and has actually been debunked there too.
So, you know, trying to determine what people think about a phenomena that's fictitious seems a little silly.
Well, "alpha" is s term used to rank wolves within a pack, wolves ARE canines, and female canines are called ______.
Anyone who actually uses terms like "alpha" to describe themselves, is not.
Now women who can take charge and be leaders? Hell yeah, flaunt that if you have that confidence!
I'll pass. The difference between alpha men and alpha women is, alpha guys lead the group and makes everyone better. Alpha females on the other hand, shits on everyone else to succeed and get what they want.
If someone calls themselves alpha, (male or female ) they are NOT alpha.
Depends what you mean by alpha? Alpha is someone who leads but does it with dignity. Doesn't put anyone down or step on their toes. People may say alpha females act like bitches yet I doubt those ones are truly alpha.
I happen to be a veta female. .
I don't believe in it. I think pushy women believe they are Alpha more often than not, and I'm not a pushy woman.

The only Alpha females I know are lesbians... sorry but true!
A mixed bag. Dominant and confident chics are hot. But often times you get to know them and they are controlling narcissists.
so called "alpha" females will try to act tough and embrace feminism to get their way. However when the going gets tough they will fold and conveniently take advantage of societal leniency that granted for women.
Here's a perfect example. Rhonda Rousey. See ran her mouth, shit talked, embraced millennial "feminism", etc. She also got PC protection to say bigoted statements about transexuals with no consequence. Other male fighters disciplined automatically (Matt Mitrione) for saying the same thing.
Can't blame her because in her heyday she was very good and she made millions of dollars. However I started blaming her after she lost to Holly Holm. She showed no respect to her opponent, she holed up and then later went on the Elle show saying she was "suicidal". Of course she got all the support in the world for her tough situation. She's a "hurt woman" so it was okay to revert back to traditional roles when it suited her.
While suicide is serious, she wasn't exactly an alpha fucking female in that moment. Imagine if Conor McGregor or Chael Sonnen went on the Elle show and told everybody they were "suicidal" after losing. Most people would scoff, tell them to "man up" and call them weak bitches.
There are dominate women out there, but they only act that way when things are going THEIR way. They are more than happy to get traditional sympathy and support designated for females when life gets rough.A girl l had a flirt with, she claimed to be an alpha girl (mainly because se was stuck in wolves ). Shewasn't very girly, I mean her behavior. I courted her , with kidness since she had that particular behavior and she had never been engaged. She always claimed she would have never got with the typical bully who boasted, who was a rude mannered and so on... when I stepped forward to her, since I thought chivarly must have worked... se friendzoned me... and few weeks later she got engaged with a dude. When I went to peek at his FB page, since I didn't know him and honestly I wanted to see who was this phenomenon that in only two months conquered her, while I knew her since two years. I was in shock... the kindnest thing he posted on his own home, where nasty jokes about sex, women and so on. His page was full. I went like "oh yeah, and she said she wouldn't have gotten engaged with such a dude like this one..". So alpha females = most times girls who pretend tl be big girls, in order to have one shoving a big cock in their mouths!
Lol... Alpha females?
thats a real thing? you mean over confident narcissistic women?
darling... Alpha mostly resides in the male world... in the male world, it means a man that other men look to.. and actually admire.
If put in the female world... its just a girl other girls hang around, but think she's an absolute bitch.
So what do i think about alpha females... lol.. they are bitches... and i LOVE to break em down...
Nothing wrong with confidence... but when its a little too much lol... guys like me pay attention... and that is not a good thing for that moron...I don't think women fall into the same alpha/beta dynamic.
I've never met a girl and thought, "oh, she's alpha."
And the ones who think they ARE alpha females are usually just bossy bitches.
And I'm not saying "bossy" to describe a girl with leadership skills, I'm using it to describe a girl with NO leadership skills who tries to make herself the boss of everything and everybody anyway.
That's what "bossy" means. And bossy women always think of themselves as "alphas." But they're not. They're just obstacles everybody else has to work around.😍 I love them. I am asexual and aromantic, so I only make friends with people Including women. I love strong women so much though. I am not assertive around women, I like to let my guard down; it's something you can't do around most guys. Alpha women are used to putting guys in their place, I like my place so it's a good fit. I have enjoyed holding a friend's purse while she aggressively flirted with cute guys, to me that was an honor. I have always got a kick out of seeing a woman get the man she wants rather than the other way around. I can imagine this type of woman can be a straight guy's nightmare though.
I'm actually a bit weird when it comes to them.
When it comes down to the question of if I would date one? No. Been there, done that. Twice, actually. At the end of the day, it made me realize that I'm not a huge fan of being treated like I'm useless and replaceable. Imagine that.
But in an odd sort of way, I also kind of admire them. It interests me how they take what they want and smash opposition with that unapologetic ruthlessness. In fact, many of the largest strides that I've taken towards strengthening my own personality were possible because I paid attention to how alpha females think during confrontation. It sounds sad, I know. But I really do think there's a lot that guys nowadays can learn from this new "strong woman" trend.I think i like women to be forward, sexually liberated, and outspoken about her desires (particularly if they pertain to me) but the women that usually consider themselves "alpha females" tend to be bitchy, demanding, and self involved and they hide it under the guise of being "sassy" or "alpha". I'm also not into dominatrixes. Sorry, but i gotta be the one to dominate you. Thats just what i'm into. I have absolutely no problem with an assertive girl who knows what she wants and what she wants is my dick. If she's not afraid to say she wants my cock in her mouth, doesn't mind being the first one to make a move, thats fucking fantastic. but i am not the type of guy who likes to be spanked or tied up, and i only got a taste for doing that to girls cause all the girls i've dated have been into that shit.
Well i dont believe in the whole alpha-brta thing.
Like a domineering, assertive eoman? Nah, not dating material.
Also dont like to work WITH them, let alone UNDER them. I can work with dominant men, they are more graceful, and if i have to, i know hot to go toe to toe with them, without making a shitfest.
Domineering women will absolutely hate being challenged, questioned, and will allways, ALWAYS make a shitfest.
I think difference is that dominant women take challenges personally , while men dont. They are attractive. I don't want some useless house wife who's only good for cooking me meals and looking pretty. A woman like that would only hold me back in life. I'm aggressive and dominant in my life and want someone on my level.
Strong, confident women who pursue their ambitions and create the world they want to live in? Oh hell yes! There's nothing more stimulating, interesting, or invigorating than two powers challenging one another, pushing each other to even higher levels than either could achieve alone, than a clashing of wills leading to a meeting of minds.
I would try and play them. Probably wouldn't be successful, but it would be so satisfying if I succeeded.
I don't think that humans function socially on this spectrum in the way wolves, dogs, baboons, etc. do. So as far as the etymology of the word and it's definition, some clarification of the meaning would be advantageous.
Assuming an "alpha female" is a woman who exerts social and/or physical dominance, my opinions are circumstantial but generally positive. If she is being genuine and true to herself while also managing to respect others, I would be attracted to the strength of her character. Strong women can be difficult to court, but they can be some of the most loyal partners around. They'll challenge you daily, forcing you to grow into a stronger man.
Then again, if the "alpha female" is a woman who is domineering, obtuse, or disingenuous in attempted social dominance, then clearly this capricious behavior would primarily lend itself to my perturbation.www.court-records.net/.../bratworth-shrug(d).gif
Simply women with higher status. They are nothing special. It just means the kind of guy that would attract her will have to be a fucking baller.Alpha? annoying, not leaders, and pushy. We tend to clash on most everything until ultimately I win since I am far more mature.
I prefer spitfires. Girls with a personality, not afraid to voice their opinion but also not so high-minded to act as though they are 100% in the right.Danger, But did not connect to me.
I did not have goal she has goal.
I said make friends in society
She was surprised to say make friends with angry?
I did not understand what was wrong
but her voice is still female's
I did not understand the sound wave as well.I don't care for alpha anything. usually translates to "asshole". But I don't mind powerful women. I find kick-ass ladies more inspiring than men. if they can do it what's my excuse? 😛
They can look fearless and their image screams I'm strong and a boss.
I like to portrait myself in image terms in the complete opposite way, I love looking cute, sweet and friendly. Its a matter of personality and style. However In my personal character I am a compassionate leader, work hard, play hard and eventually will become a boss. :)Alpha females are independent, smart, and usually have a strong passion for something. At the same time they can be great lovers and always have their partners backs if need be. Sounds like my type of woman honestly. Now if she were to try and dominate me at everything there would be a problem and i obviously wouldn't allow that 😉
