My friend is incredibly hot! Everyone time we go out, 90 per cent of the guys we walk pass ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, look at my friend. They stare at her, and even though we're only 16, old people eye her and just have that dazed "i'm undressing you with my eyes" look on their face.

My friend and I have been friends for a long while - let me stress that she is a fantastic friend, intelligent, fun to be around with, loyal, funny, she's a great girl with a great personality!

She DOES NOT get all the attention she has from dressing slutty or massive boobs or anything like that. She's just got a gorgeous face, tall slim body, and has a really classy dress sense.

But here's the thing I'm down about - there is no doubt in hell that she's hotter than me (i'm not ugly, just average looking) and there is no doubt that she has a great personality and is an intelligent girl.

i'm not exactly jealous, of course I am a little in that I would love to look like her, but my main problem is, if there are girls out there like my friend who are stunning AND intelligent, why do average girls like myself even bother?! do you know what I mean? like every time I go out with her she steals all the attention for all the right reasons. like.. why should I even bother when 99 per cent of all guys would go out with her if they could!

so uh...whats her number? lol just kidding...or am i? lol listen you are freakin out way too much about this. she's a cool person you're a cool person...something YOU have that she doesn't...is that YOU are probably more APPROACHABLE. one of my female friends was telling me and our friends the other day that she had friends who were dressed sexier or had makeup and shed come with them in her gym shorts and tennies and the guys would actually come and talk to her first because she was just...cooler. just chill the f*** out and be friends with your friend...but maybe you shouldn't take her out with you when you wanna hit the club unless you wanna be overshadowed. take some time for yourself...find out what you like to do on your own, and then go find a guy who likes the same...its so not hard for a girl to get a guy...much harder for the opposite to happen...and next time you step out with her, maybe you can kinda punch it up a bit with the fashion or makeup so instead of feeling like her fug-friend you feel like you're two hot chicks catchin all the looks...i recommend 3 in heels and a skirt...showin some leg ALWAYS helps...avoid those breast enhancer things...those are like lies...be happy with your own body. of course you could always just accept things the way they are and let her have the 99percent of shallow guys...and you can have that one percent man... the man who comes to you wanting a natural girl. love is NOT about quantity or people who think you're cute, but rather the QUALITY of adoration from just one...

Because you're great too and deserve to find someone who cares about you. Also guys like different things, some guy is going to meet you and get to know you and then meet your friend. He's going to think wow her friend is hot but she's noot the same as you.

Be as attractive as you can be. Be happy be friendly smile and have a great time and guys will be attracted to you. Have your friend teach you how to dress well. Not many guys can articulate why certain clothes look great on a girl they just know they do and we appreciate well dressed women.

For the record I feel the same way too. Why should I bother when their are great looking guys who have far more interesting personality traits, dress better and are also really good people? The only thing I have going for me is that I'm mature and a good person.

Even though she is incredible gorgeous I am sure she is not every guys type like she could be too tall, too skinny to some and you would call more attention to this certain guy, so I wouldn't worry really, I don't mind hanging out with prettier girls than me I think we all look different and attract different type of men and we have different personalities so in the end that's it, I mean there will always be someone prettier than you...just like yourself for who you are and a nice guy will notice...

and another thing a guy that goes with you might like you because he really likes you and a guy might be with her just for sex, just to show her around...the prettiest girls I know had the worst type of bfs like really d***heads they attracted by their looks...

My best friend is a little like that, a great person, popular, she looks great, knows how to dress and everybody likes her.

There was a time when I was thinking that she took all my possibilities of actually getting a boyfriend, because funny enough, all the guys I've had a crush on in my class, has had a thing for her and 3-4 of them actually became her bf.

But I'm me, and I've found out I shouldn't be bothered by our differences in personality and looks, because people are different, and now I have a great bf.

I personally have noticed that many beautiful girls got an average girl as her best girlfriend.

I even asked a question about it once, my personal opinion is that they do it either aware or unaware in order to "stand out" in her presence.

It's way easier to stand out among mediocrity, compared to a situation when she's among a lot of very attractive girls.

Back then the most popular answer to my question was that girls don't consider looks for their friends but personalities, although that makes perfect sense still I don't fully believe it.

Every case is different, that why I said "many" not all in the first sentence here, but this could very well be your situation.

What should you do?

Dress-up and make your very best you can about your looks.. and sometimes just go out without her, with some other girls or alone.. when you'll look good you will feel good and you'll be more confident, and in those times she won't be around to leech the attention away from you.

you need to go on a "guy hunt" alone sometimes. That will give you more self-confidence. You will catch one one day - there's no need to hurry.

Looks do are a certain advantage, but it's not the be all and end all of what guys are after.

One of my uni friends has a wife from Slovakia (the neighboring country) and although Slovak women are famous for their hot looks, she's JUST the average you are talking about. A lot of people would say he's many times more good-looking than she is. But hey - they've got two little beautiful children and are a happy family.

Most people who wait a bit until their 1st relationship have an easier and more beautiful relationship life, while all those "hotties" and "hunks" will forever have to deal and cope with numerous breakups and divorces.

At our age, people get caught up in looks. Yeah, us guys will drool over a girl's looks. However, the girls that we talk about for dating are the ones whose personalities we can't stop talking about. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true. You may not be able to change how you look, but you can always offer your best attitude and confidence. Confidence is a big player. Never underestimate yourself. If you think you're worth having and being with, others will think so, too.
