Depends on your face. Might look better on one side, might not, but it all depends on the particular face it's on.

Not really. Really it's only about whether your face or hair is non-symmetrical. And even then I don't think it makes a big difference unless there's something very obvious about your face that a nose piercing on a particular side could compliment/balance out.
