Like do you think the people who are satisfied with the way they look are more all around attractive to you than those who always look to improve their looks?

'satisfied' with your looks and 'always' primping are not opposites. someone who is always tinkering with their appearance, that has the location of every mirror designated in their gps smacks of vanity, narcissism. you would always be second in that relationship. a person who is satisfied with their looks may or may not be attractive, and might not be the belle of the ball, but I bet they would be a lot more fun to be around, because they would have a lot more time to invest paying attention to you, instead of their coiffure. the opposite of a person that constantly fusses with their appearance is the careless, unkempt, and usually unwashed kind. sort of a goldilocks situation here, stay away from the extremes, go for the moderate.

To most people careless really means ""I'm fat and I'm too lazy to do anything about it".

Ultimate turn off.

Self improvement should be a huge goal in anyones life.

You can be satisfied with your looks and still want to improve your looks for the better. But someone who confidently accepts the way they look are much more attractive than someone who is insecure.

Well I wasn't really trying to compare two opposites I was just trying to compare these two types I people. Not everything comparable has to be opposite.

I find a somewhat insecure person is more attractive. Careless people kind of annoy me since that seems to be most of my friends these days, it would be nice to have someone more like me
