Think of something relating to what he does. Here are some examples to get your mind thinking.

If he works at a diner, you could go there and eat - not looking at him etc, just make it seem like he is a regular waiter - for the "Tip" section on your bill put "Call me" and on the back write your phone number ;; Of course you would have to make sure he's your cashier too, so you may want to come in-advance and watch during your meal if he takes the checks

If he goes to one of your classes and is the only tutor - apply for private tutoring lessons and that he should call you -- not only do you get the benefit of education, but also to be closer to this guy.

Write your number on a piece of bright pink paper with a smiley face and a nice joke on the paper (More on the joke later) -- Take the piece of paper and put it on a 5 dollar bill unattatched, fold the bill 3 times then crumple the folded money in your hand so it gets that "old paper" look .. uncrumple it and fold it nicely... Follow him and then be like "Hey dude, you dropped this" then hand it to him, after he grabs it - turn and walk away after you've looked him in the eyes and smiled.

if so here is an idea that my friend used and she is now engaged to the guy. She went to where he worked and asked someone that worked with him what he drove. She then went to his truck and wrote a note to him telling him who she was because they had mutual friends and put her number at the bottom. He called her a few days later!

you could also just walk up to him and hand him the piece of paper with your number on it.

i have also had a friend ask a friend of his for the guys she liked number and she txt him telling him who she was and that she liked him.
