My birthday is on the 11th, and I'm not sure what kind of cake to have...

So I need your favorite and then a suggestion for me? Ready? GO!

by the way...I don't like chocolate cake

Ah I don't like chocolate cake too. I prefer fruit based ones especially ones dotted with real fruit all over. Cake could be any flavor i.e. mango, pineapple, green apple, kiwi etc

Green apple cake, it was my Mom's favorite so it has when every I make and have a piece wonderful warm fuzzy memories flood in, I loved my Mom.

Oh I was messaging it to you type the whole thing out and you are blocked ok I will send it here.

2 Cups Flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda, 3 teaspoons allspice or nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 8 Tablespoons buttermilk, 3 cups diced green apple.

Place in 13 x 9 pan bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Topping: While cake is hot, mix 6 Tablespoons melted butter, 2/3 cup packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup heavy cream, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Put in a sauce pan cook until mixture is just to boiling.

I poke holes in the cake so the cake can absorb the topping mixture, I also double the topping :). I hope enjoy it if you decided to make it.

I like cake with fresh fruit on it doesn't matter if it's vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, marble, or some other flavor but the fresh fruit makes its so delicious! ^_^ Especially fresh strawberries, yum.

My favorite is chocolate cake.
People that don't like chocolate cake usualy go for red velvet cake or ice cream cake without chocolate or white forest cake.

I like canoli cake.. Not sure how well known it is but it uses whipped cream and canoli filling instead of frosting (I hate frosting)
