I have Read that More of Vitamin C, Iron and Vitamin K helps to prevent this. And perhaps you are lacking some other Vitamin in your food diet.
I have been on a Multiple Vitamin since I was a little girl, and rarely a bruise... Or one that I can remember getting, although I was always doing Something being 'busy' with every day living that could have caused it.
Go see your doctor and find out what's going on. It's always good to get these little things, even a bit bigger, squared away.
If they are coming and going, it May be due to a nutritional deficiency. And yes, from my research, Extensive 'Standing' can cause bruising as well.

doubt it's simply from being on your feet. bruises are caused by injury to blood vessels. I guess there could be some injury in the exertion of playing your instrument but it also could be a sign of some sort of illness.
DEFINITELY go to a doctor.
