I'm a crackhead for sweets... Help me?

I have a sweet tooth that I cannot tame. I'm 5'5 and weigh 145 lbs. I'm not fat but I'm definitely chubby and would love to look like I did when I first had my son which was 120 lbs. I don't smoke or drink so I guess I use sweets when I'm stressed. Every time I diet, my cheat meal turns into cheat day and then cheat week. Anybody have tips that have worked for them?
