We almost always have excellent restaurant quality meals at my house thanks to my wife who is a great cook. We also use a Breville toaster oven for a lot of the small stuff which makes it better. Microwave is used but rarely, more for popcorn or perhaps reheating in a hurry. Even our hotdogs are mainly done on a skillet.

My microwave is an Amana which was made in may 1984. I know because it's written on the back. I'm pretty sure every time I use it I'm killing myself by increasing my chances of cancer.

Also, I only use it to warm up coffee and left overs from when I eat out... I rarely cook for myself and just pay others to do it for me.

I think the only thing I use my microwave for is to de-thaw mean and cook tea. Both of which I can do without so I think I would be alrgiht. Practically anything you can cook in the microwave you can cook on the stove.

Nah, I'd be fine. Mine is actually broken right now. It turns itself on when I open the door, and turns off when I close it instead of the other way around. My ovaries are probably fried from radiation from still trying to use it.

Who uses the microwave that much? Im not allowed to cook and I don't use the microwave to make my meals because I am worried the radiation will give me cancer. I eat sandwiches and raw vegetables instead.

I can cook and warm food in the stove and countertop no problem. Done it before and can do it again. It takes longer but it's still easy.
