I think its serious, but I'm not a doctor. Could this be a rotator cuff tear? Thank you!
Also, don't be like "You need to go to the doctor ASAP" because Ik but due to circumstances, I have to wait till Wednesday.
It sounds like it could be a rotator cuff tear. When you dislocate your shoulder, it makes your rotator cuff more vulnerable to injuries. Rotator cuff tears cause pain, especially in the upper and outer shoulder, and particularly when you reach upward or sleep on your injured side. Your shoulder may feel weak and make a clicking or cracking sound when you move it. So when you say 'pop and shattering' it gives me the feeling it is. I have seen a few of these injuries (I am an athletic trainer/physical therapist in training). But I hope you get it figured out and if it's not rotator related, it's not to serious! Good luck girl!
it could be a tear, it could be a pinched nerve, those would be my assumptions. they also might not have actually put your shoulder back in correctly. it's hard to know for sure. i would keep the splint on for now and just try not to do anything to irritate it because that will make it worse. i hope everything goes well!
