6'1 - 190 is a good build. Around 220 starts to look beefy, but keeping a low body fat % is harder at higher weights, I hear. Source: ex boyfriend :P. He varied between 180-230. I'd say around 190-200 looked best on him at 6'0, but that whole range was sexy.
Off the top of head, these are approximate measurements I came up with to look BIG (but not Mr Olympia BIG) at 6'1.
1. Chest - 50 inches or more
2. Shoulder width - 21 inches
3. Arms - 18-19 inches (flexed)
4. Legs - 30-32 inches (quads)
It depends on muscularity. You say you have abs, but we do not know the rest of your body. Do you have broad shoulders? Do you have a deep chest? Or is most of your weight in your legs.

You want to look big in clothing - have you considered the clothing itself? I looked pretty built in my motorcycle jacket, thanks to all the padding and tailoring.
A guy at work wore an Italian team strip during the World Cup. That thing was tailored and made him look muscular too.
What happens if you wear a slim fit large? I'm 20lbs less than you and I look way better in slim fit shirts than my old regular fit Ls and XLs.
Get a boys small t shirt. you'll looked huge
