I'm not a creeper! I work as doctor's receptionist and I have to give men pee sample pots all tge time and I can't help but notice when they return the samples that their hands are bone dry, my office looks directly at the men's room, hard not to notice after a while.
Well now that I think about it sometime I do and sometimes I don't. The times I don't it usually because I'm not using my hands at the moment or I go to a community college so when I use the public computers at the library I really don't see the point of washing since between the door the sink handle and the keyboard my hands would be just as dirty if I washed them anyways
What are you doing in the guys restroom/bathroom/toilet to be able to know all this?

If I go to any washroom, and if I touch ANYTHING, I wash my hands with soap. I never use my hands to open the door, neither do I use my hands to shut the faucet. Thank God for the elbow.
Moreover, we are REQUIRED to wash our privates after relieving ourselves; be it major job or minor one. :) So we would be crazy not to wash hands. Actually, I was at least 2 times after the major job.
With respect to your update: I literally have a marked list of co-workers, I avoid shaking hands with; particularly when I am about to eat. If and whenever I have to, I make sure I head straight to the bathroom after that. I have ganged up with some female co-workers and we share info about the filthy colleagues as it is not possible to see habits of opposite gender.
Oh !! I have seen some OTHER type of ass holes.. they wash their hands, often with soap, BEFORE they go pee or even poop. When they come out, it's straight out the door. I mean, "straight" !!!
Yeah. That will protect you from germs. But my concern is not just germs. For me, shit is shit and pee is pee; doesn't matter if you are directly or inderectly touching it. Funny thing is, I don't know how I get over it mentally when I jump into a swimming pool. Hehe.

Anyways, I think my penis is cleaner than the hands of most of the people, but still I wash my hands because the flush button is one of the dirtiest thing.
I always wash my hands (honest!) but the poll results don't really jibe with research, while the anecdote in your update does. It seems that a very, very large percentage of males all around the world do not wash their hands after using the bathroom. I mean, it's my own dick so it's clean, right?
with water only, because pee is literally 99% water with a bit of salt for one, only 1% waste and bacteria, therefore water washing away water. Also, unless if you're inaccurate and hold your dick by grabbing near the meatus, then you're not going to get any pee on you anyway... Why is everyone so pedantic here lol.

I wash my hands after every single visit to the toilet. So much so that it's now ingrained in me and I still wash them even if I didn't do it - a reflex of sorts.
Sooo many people dont wash their hands after peeing OR pooping! Soo many! I've witnessed this. And then you wonder if you should say something or not you know?

Depends, sometimes, sometimes not. It's not the HUGE deal people make it out to be in my opinion. It's not like I'm touching the pee or putting my hand in the toilet. It's only skin touching skin. If I were to touch my arm, do I need to wash my hands? No, then what's the difference with my penis? Especially if I'm just at home. Public restrooms I tend to wash more or if my hands are dirty to begin with, yes I'll wash them. I always wash if doing #2.

I also have issues sometimes with public washrooms especially. Like those air hand dryers, I HATE them with a passion. Or there's no soap or water is ice cold etc. I won't even bother.

I wash normally, but it really is kinda pointless when you think about it. Im not peeing all over my hands, I am just holding my dick. And my dick is clean, I wash it regularly. So its no different really than touching your arm or whatever. There isn't a legit reason to wash hands after, even though we do it
