I always carry gum with me and brush my teeth before going out to a party or club where I might kiss someone. The polite way of dealing with someone with bad breath is to take a piece of gum or mint yourself, and then offer it to the other person. That way, it just seems like you wanted one for yourself and are offering to be polite.

I always chew on gum but offer it to people around me just to be polite
I just chew gum, eat a mint, or brush my teeth. Otherwise, people will become poisoned, confused, cursed, very angry, and will turn into stone in 60 seconds.
If someone breath stinks, I just discreetly hold my breath.
wow, so offering gum or a mint to people before you take one is considered rude? good lord that means I've been doing it wrong this whole time hahahahaha.
oh well, your never to old to learn something new lol

I can't chew gum, and I don't like mint. I have one of these things: link
And I always offer to anyone around me, lol. If they think I'm telling them they have bad breath, then oops. :PI rarely have bad breath (or so I think) because I drink a lot of water, but if I did I would chew peppermint gum, or spearmint. Perhaps, some mints. I always offer, if they say no, I tell them, unless I barely know the person.
if I have any kind of candy/gum, I offer it to the people around me...so I hope they aren't assuming that I think they have bad breath lol. I just think it's common courtesy to share.
When I have bad breath, I brush my teeth if I can. If I'm out, I carry gum or mints.
I only share when people ask :PWhen I have bad breath I'll pop some gum or buy some minty freshness sheets. Offering gum is OK but offering them a breath mint can be rude
I usually...stay away from them...and pop gum in my mouth and offer them some lol.
