About how many times do women fart a day?

yeah be honest, just curious Because women seem much more embarassed by this than guys(who do not care). but if you had to guess how many times a day do you fart, and why are females so bashful normally about hiding it...afterall it is a human function?

omg...I can't believe I'm answering this lol. OK let's see, I usually fart after dinner and in the mornings before I go to the bathroom and when I'm either feeling nervous or sick with the flu. I would like to guess maybe twice a day? Girls are shy about it because it's not "lady like" I mean, what if you took a girl out on your guys' first date, and she totally rips one? Would that turn you off or on, because it's a normal "bodily function?" lol

I never really counted. But if I eat dairy or foods I am not used to I tend to fart more. I'm not sure if you know this, but woman's farts smell worse than men.

Yeah I read a study about it, women's farts smell worse because of higher levels of sulphur gasses being present in a women's fart than a man's and it also said in general women fart three times more often then men to. Please don't think I am trying to be judgmental because to be honest I am super relaxed about women farting, its natural. :)

I know this question is old but thought I would answer anyway. Funny you should ask this because I have read a study on this and it said most women fart three times more often than us guys do. It just seems like us guys fart more because we are more open about it. The study also stated that women's farts tend to stink way worse than us guys because of the fact there is higher levels of sulphur gases in a women's fart than a mans.

well iv answered this before and like they all said we don't count and it depends on what we eat.

i guess we hide it because wer told wer supposed to. its just a behaviour wev had built into us- 'ladies are supposed to appear elegant and poised at all times- her appearance is the primacy of her character'.

i wouldn't say I'm shy bout hiding it. id say its just not necessary to let one rip whenever unless you can't contain it lol

I'm not embarrassed by it at all. I think woman are taught to be embarrassed about bodily functions and that "ladies" don't do such things lol.

I think it is a good thing your not embarrassed by it. I do not see why we teach women to be embarrassed about farting when it is a natural bodily function that a human is meant to do as soon as they get the gas. It just makes no sense to teach women to be embarrassed.

I think it's more worried about the smell if anything, sometimes the sound.
