The Spidey: A Child's First Poem

The Spidey (short poem)

The little spider swungen and swungen on her web,
when a soft stream of air hit her net.
“What a relief, what a relax” she said.
A red ant passed by
Said “hello,” said “goodbye.”
The spider swungen and swungen on her web,
when nearby a cool breeze went.
The green leaves the wind bent.
A scout meanwhile made his tent
The spider swungen and swungen on her web,
Far away a cricket made a sound.
The little spider looked around,
The noise was nowhere to be found.
The blue sky and the yellow sun,
the warm weather, and the cool water,
the bird chants, the silent steps.
“What a beautiful day” she said.
The spider swungen and swungen on her web,
Until the night arrived.
Time to sleep, time to rest.
“What a beautiful night” she said
The spider swungen no more her web.
Her small home was still.
She wanted a tranquil sleep.
A sweet dream, a wonderful night.

"The Spidey" is a #poem co-written by my eldest daughter, which I decided to share it with you.
