Hannah's Songs of March '15

Hannah591

March has been a month of new albums, new found love for artists and appreciating some of the older songs I used to enjoy. In the past couple of months, I have found a particular love for the trap genre so there's one in this take. I hope you enjoy this playlist and discover new artists that warm your heart.

Lana Del Rey - Queen of Disaster

I've never been fully interested in Lana Del Rey's music but after some searching, I have found a couple great songs that I love. This one is a very cute, upbeat, catchy and vintage style of song. Check out Serial Killer, Dark Paradise & Body Electric!

Red - Of These Chains

I used to listen to Red every day last year, they helped me get through a difficult period so I was happy to see they had made a new album; Of Beauty and Rage. This song is my favourite.

Years & Years - King

Years & Years are coming into light and at first, I thought they'd have only this one good song but I fell in love with their other songs (Take Shelter & Desire) which had millions of views before this one hit it big. Years & Years are my new found love.

Kanye West - I'm In It (DMNDZ Trap Remix)(Explicit)

I'm not a huge fan of Kanye, but I am a fan of trap music and remixes as well as a good tune and bass. I don't expect this song to appeal to most people.

Composed by Danny Elfman - Ice Dance (Edward Scissorhands)

After seeing Edward Scissorhands The Musical recently, it made me fall in love with the sound track even more and I've been listening to it all month. This song is from the ice dance scene in the amazing 90's film and I love it just as much as I love the main soundtrack. These songs will give you goosebumps, especially if you appreciate orchestral music. If you've never seen the film, I recommend it to all, plus Johnny Depp is the main character.

Woodkid - Iron

Those of you who are into your gaming should be able to recognise this song from the Assassins Creed 3 Revelations trailer. I instantly fell for the power of this song, it's a true warrior's song. And definitely this one.

Bakermat - Teach Me

A fabulous summer tune!
