Is Anaface. com accurate?

I tried it and I got like an 8.13... but I don't feel that I'm that hot lol. Do you think it's accurate? If you've tried it, what was your score?

I have tried anaface. I used 3 different photos. I'm an average looking or slightly below average looking guy, and anaface gave me very high scores (9.62, 9.77, 9.65). I'm pretty sure the programmers discovered a new, extremely potent form of marijuana, crossbred it with angel-dust, and then smoked large quantities of it before, during, and after programming their software. There is no other plausible explanation for my having scored above 9.6 on all three photos.
So to answer your question, I think anaface is not accurate. More accurate is other people's opinions (ahhh missing the days of hotornot. com ... j/k). Even more accurate than that is one's own opinion. This is because your own opinion of how beautiful you are, inside and out, is likely to go hand in hand with confidence and energy, which in turn contribute greatly to how other people view your real beauty.

You're most welcome. I did some googling and it appears anaface uses a Golden Ratio aesthetic. The Golden ratio (approximately = 1.618), is an aesthetic ideal first discovered in ancient Greek civilization. They believed that the Golden Ratio was crucial to dictating pleasing proportions. I'm not sure how this would play out in faces, but the Golden Ratio is often found in nature (e. g. spirals in seashells and flowers, also hurricanes and galaxy formations, butterfly body proportions etc etc.

But... that makes Anaface sound even more accurate! I mean it's super scientific. It's hard to believe that Anaface is wrong.

Yeah. Consider the source. I'm totally biased. In other words, I hope anaface is accurate 'cause it would be really cool if I were as good looking as the numbers from anaface say I am. No woman (other than my Aunts and mother) has ever called me handsome or complimented me on my looks, so I'm left to think that anaface is kinda bogus. Maybe I'll get lucky and the Facial Fusiform Area (an area in the brain that processes faces) will be replaced with anaface software. lol.
All I'm saying is that anaface probably varies a lot from how people would rate a face. Sometimes anaface will be a lot higher sometimes anaface will be a lot lower and sometimes it will be right. This doesn't preclude the possibility that anaface might partially explain someone's looks (it's what scientists call a partial predictor or a small correlation).

Yeah and I think it's weird when people get results, the list is half good things half bad things, but they STILL get a high score. Isn't it the more flaws you have the lower the rating?

More flaws tend toward lower rating, but it also depends on which flaw and how badly flawed. For instance, I'm pretty sure, the poor-good-great symmetry part is responsible for a lot more than, say, the nose width in relation to mouth width. Also someone could have a "flawed" inner-ocular distance, but just barely so, where as someone else might have a very highly flawed inner-ocular distance. The words could say in both cases: "your innerocular distance is too wide for your eyes," but the really flawed person would be docked a lot more points.

It accurately measures the symmetry and ratio between facial features, but that isn't the only thing that determines beauty. Complexion, wrinkles, bone structure, skin color, eye color, eye nose mouth eyebrow shape head ear etc shape, and many other visual things it doesn't account for.
