Do vinyls have region codes?

As a gift I got a turntable/record player etc whatever you want to call it. Vinyls here in Australia are really expensive so I was thinking of buying them overseas. Would they still work on my turntable that's from Australia. Do they have region codes or can I use vinyls from all over the world

Vinyls use an audio pattern in the vinyl. There is no encoding any digital things into it. So no there are not region codes or anything like that on them.
