Well not "emos" but Japan loves everything cute or "kawaii", which is why they even decorate their train stations with anime things and even make statues of them. That's why they made things like Hello Kitty and Hatsune Miku and those characters are super popular their.
So its cuteness that they love, emo-ness or femininity. But I guess I see what you mean now lol.

anyway. in japan, if you look at the visual kei scene you can see it as well. generally, I would say your confusion is caused by a cultural difference.
i dont study japanese ideals, but based on their celebrities I would say that a feminine looking man is more attractive to then.
Now that you're mentioning it yeah it does look like it

emos alongside with sadboys take a huge inspiration on anime characters, the way they act, dress, put up their hair, so is mre like the other way around. and yes, they are meant to look more feminine, bc in Asian cultures being feminine is more attractive
I have no I idea what your talking about. What's the name of the anime who's pic is below death note?
I don't know... But anime characters usually have cool hairstyles. I don't understand how it makes them "feminine"
Not really, but yeah I can see where you would get that idea.
There is many anime out there so you can't say that about all of them.
no not all look like this u know.
I don't know if they supposed to but they do
