Do guys mind if a girl has a rough skin?

Hi everyone!

So I have a skin condition called keratosis pilaris where there is rough bumps on my skin. My case is really big cause I have it all over my legs and back of my arms. Like I litteraly have a pant of bumps from the top to the end of my legs.

So my question is do guys mind if a girl has a rough skin because she can't control it? I tried everything I could but Kp has no real treatments.

This condition got me to be really self conscious. I rarely wear shorts or short sleeves. And I'm scared to date as welll cause I don't want the guy to be gross out and to call me dirty or anything

that affects about 50% of the population. everyone I know has it from mild to not so mild. you can't help it. it's out of your control. if some d*** thinks that makes you undatable, then f*** him. but in the real world, I've seen couples where one has it, couples where both have it, couples where neither has it. to a normal person, that is in no way, shape or form a deal breaker. ALSO, if you use a loofah sponge daily, you can realllllly smooth out your skin. it might feel rough to you, but if you asked another person to run their hand over your skin, you'd be surprised by how little they feel it. so don't be self-conscious. if that's your major flaw...then thank god you got that lucky. ;)

I have the same thing! Don't worry it goes away when you get older. Just exfoliate and moisturize as you can and don't be afraid to show your skin. I've actually noticed that it fades quite a bit in the sun.

I have it too, but only on my lower legs, but no my boyfriend doesn't mind. I don't think most guys would

It's very common and I've seen many people that have it. It's something people notice if they look closely but no one's going to be disgusted about it.

I suppose, the worse it is, the more guys will care. Why don't you upload a photo of your skin and let us see? It may not be as bad as you think it is.

Try to get a lotion that helps with this condition it's called Gold Bond it's specially for rough and bumpy skin. I have this too so don't worry. Use exfoliator sponges and wash yourself with these works Wonders! ❤ & They become less noticeable trust me😊
