GUYS, is it a turn-off if a girl is too skinny?

Being skinny is generally considered the right thing so is there any logical reason guys would have a negative view or prejudice against skinny girls? Do they prefer obese women?

overly skinny generally is a turn off for me. I like a little bit of meat. not a huge fan of feeling rib cages when I put my arm around a girl. I like some curves...that said I've dated skinnier girls (e.g. 5'5 110lbs) and I've dated larger girls (5'3 130lbs)

this question makes me laugh. men have preferences. Every man is different and has their own preference. Just because a person doesn't find skinny girls attractive doesn't mean that they like obese women. there is an in between right? It also doesn't mean that they wouldn't date one or the other

Well, being slim is kind of considered 'normal'. Skinny is generally not a good thing and usually a sign something is wrong. Same thing goes for obese people. It's basically something in our nature, our biology, because too skinny or overweight do not indicate health.

If I meet a skinny girl I can still get to like her, as matter of fact I did, but I was concerned about her weight because she liked and wanted to be like a model.

Guys don't like it if you are a beanpole. If you still have curves, they love it.

On a slightly different note, I hate all this fake body positive sh*t. I hate it when people talk badly about thin women to make fat women feel better. Or when they say that small girls aren't "real women".

I know you asked for a guys opinion but I'm bisexual so, yes it's a turn off I like girls with some meat and curves

A: there's a point where most men would consider a girl 'too skinny', but if you're healthy, you're probably not under that line.

B: Guys are divided on whether they prefer thicker girls with curves or slim, petite girls. However, the division does not match the actual distribution of women in north America, so slim girls are generally in demand, at least when older. When they're 15, being skinny is pretty common so may seem like less of a plus.

Is it a turn off for me? Yes it is. If I can see most of your bones there is a problem. If your legs are thicker than your thighs there is a problem. If you obsess over your body to extreme situations there is a problem. Thin + toned over skinny

it would depend how thin , it can be sexy to be in shape and have a good body but just don't go below a sensible weight , guys like girls who take care of the body and look nice and aren't too obese or too thin
