What is a good relationship?

what is a good relationship?

A good relationship has:

Trust: Self explanatory

Care: This means both nurturing the person with your affection but also caring for their needs

Honesty: Self explanatory

Conversation and Humor: Without these the relationship will grow stale so conversation should flow and have some good laughs.

Loyalty: Self explanatory

Same plans for the future: Kids, marriage, religion, etc. it is important to be on the same paige or near to the same paige to not have these issues slowly break apart the relationship.

Patience: At times the other person will act irrational you must be patient which brings me to my next point

Understanding: Understand each others reactions for example my girlfriend gets really cranky when sleepy she will get bitchy but I don't take it to heart because I understand that it's how she is when sleepy and that isn't her true self.

Attraction: I don't mean the person needs to be a model but simply that you find her attractive that doesn't mean you lust after her but you look at her in the morning and you're happy to see her face instead of wishing she would have kept the make up on.

Companionship: One of the biggest things is having you're SO be your companion in life the one you feel is a part of you or at least makes you feel more secure with their company.

Respect: Self explanatory

Acceptance: Along with understanding of your partner you need to accept who they are you are dating them after all you aren't dating the mental version of them you wish they were.

BONUS ROUND

Thoughtful: Spontaneously giving her flowers or picking her up to go eat after work out of the blue.

Attentive: Listening to what she says this goes along with thoughtful because if she says something like I really like this sweater at a local shop or I love ice skating you can take her on a date to the ice skating rink and or buy her the sweater.

Sex: This isn't a necessity but if you have good sex that is a definite bonus.

Communication: Although this one is a little overrated it's good to know how to use it when necessary.
