I am 31 years old. I have held 25 jobs since the age of 15. I have been hospitalized in a psych hospital more than 20 times. In my late teens/early 20s, I became obsessed with finding another virgin to lose my virginity to. I lost my virginity at age 20 to a 16 year old young woman, and later I was arrested and convicted of stalking after trying to desperately and pathetically win her love. I ended up losing my EMT license after the entire ordeal. Then I went into software engineering and because I became desperate after trying to find a woman without a romantic past (after realizing being a woman's first love was more important than taking her virginity), I managed to get myself into an even more troublesome situation. I ended up getting kicked out of the software engineering community and being blacklisted all around town.

I finally managed to find the love of my life, and we are now married. We are each other's first real relationship. I regret all my stupidity from the past, but how as it stands, I am 31 years old and barely leave the house. Now I just collect disability.

I got emotional when I watched a TV show called "Time of death", it follows the last days or months of someone who's terminal. I got emotional as the mom gave her speech in which she expressed how horrible it was to see her son rapidly deteriorate from cancer, and fade away.

It also made me think about my childhood dog, Katie. She ended up getting sicker and sicker as her pancreas started shutting down and she could hardly walk down the stairs. She was my dog from 2007-2020. As previously mentioned, I never fit in, anywhere, Katie was my everything.

I was closer to her than most people are with their siblings, I hated being away from her, and she always howled, cried out and desperately lunged at me every time I left for school. She'd wait by the window for me, jump up, wagging her tail, and as I come in, there was a love seat by the door She'd run up, stand on, and lick me. She'd put her two paws on my shoulders to do it.

When I had surgery and was in the hospital, she refused to leave my room, even to use the bathroom and when I came back, she always cuddled so close to me and I'd always hold her close. Seeing her condition worsen and her strength fade was so hard. I'd have to carry her up and down the stairs, she'd be scared to try to walk down them.

Then I'd have to bring food up to her, her worry and sorrow always on her face as I desperately tried to comfort her. Then the day came, I remember how even in her last moments, she looked up and licked me as i told her how much I loved her, and how I'd never forget her.

I see now that although I have dogs now and love them, Katie's death burned the deepest hole in my heart.

I'm not ashamed to admit that my eyes are quite wet as I write this, and I sobbed as I looked at this photo taken days before her death. Seeing her nose, her eyes, I really loved her. To Katie, I will always remember you, thank you for loving me, thank you for staying with me, and thank you for being my dog❤️

Thanks to the "government shutdown" we found out that FORTY-TWO MILLION people are getting food stamps? And MILLIONS of them are able bodied people with no dependents? WTF!

Why should YOU have to work your ass off to give these lazy bums more of your hard earned money?

The "government shutdown" wasn't a bad thing unless you allow them fool you into thinking that the fact that the FORTY-TWO MILLION people getting free stuff at YOUR expense that the shutdown exposed isn't something that needs to be thoroughly audited and cleaned up!

Why should MILLIONS of able bodied people who don't even have any dependents be getting one dime of YOUR money?

And since when is subsidizing dependency instead of making policies that encourage people to be independent and stand on their own two feet the "compassionate" thing to do.

And why should we give the government so much power that its the end of the world if it shuts down. Humans lived for millions of years before government existed because they learned to be IN DEPENDENT not DE PENDENT.

We need to CUT the size and power of the government and return it to individuals, not GROW the government to take our power away.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen! Vote against Democrats, the party of dependency and plantation slavery.
