The Righteous Party: Democrats or Republicans?

This party is full of terrible people that don't know right from wrong, and is full of massive hypocrites. Which party am I talking about? You probably have an opinion. Hell, even I have an opinion. If I was forced into spending the rest of my life in a single party the choice would be easy for me. Which party do I support? Why does it matter, I'm going to get hate if I say it anyways.

Your party is full of assholes too. There I said it. I feel like everyone thinks the party they support is the be-all, end-all of righteousness. Everyone's chock full of biases towards something we shouldn't be biased about.

Truth is, everyone's a massive hypocrite. When you sweep one person's issues under the rug but are eager to point out the other person's similar issue. Let me phrase it this way: the talk around Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

How can you ignore the sexual assault claims for one person, but be outraged at the sexual assault claims for the other person? Insane, right?

To you, everything is propaganda. You're so unwilling to compromise you're swimming in your own ignorance, you're a massive hypocrite.

To you, the other party is full of extremists, whether you believe they're bigots or that they're sensitive SJWs.

But you know better right?

But you don't let other people's opinions influence you right? You've already made up your mind. There's no room for compromise. The other people, they're the dumb ones. They're the ignorant ones. They're the ones that should educate themselves.

i don't think any party is righteous. it's more about those within the party. there are plenty of despicable people on both sides and good people on both sides.

i do think one party has more people who i'd deem "righteous" but i don't label either party as righteous or another as deplorable

Uhh, there is physical evidence against Bill Clinton and his accusers have been around his whole life. There is no physical evidence against Trump and his accusers decided to come forward less than a month before an election, and Clinton has been proven to be willing to get people to do deceptive things to undermine her opponents, bit of a difference there.

But that aside, the Republicans economic model has actually been able to pull people out of poverty, whereas the Democratic economic model has been to put more people in poverty.

That doesn't mean there are no bad people who are Republicans, I've never made that claim and I don't think anybody ever has in a serious manner. Bad people come in all flavors.

Generalities, unfortunately, are what 'opinions' are derived from. Nobody outside your own country concerns themselves about the details of the internal goings on until it potentially impacts other nations.
Two big points come to mind off-hand...

A - Eight years of a president that didn't deseve to be jailed for war-crimes and for flat-out ignoring the direction of the UN

B - Eight years of a president who had the balls and worldly respect to take shits in his OWN backyard as opposed to everyone elses

C - Eight years of a president overtly welcomed in most other nations

I enjoyed that take - Very valid - I think both parties are too big - You can't be all things to all people - Any close study of either party will show you there are at least 15 wings in each party - I think they should structure as loose coalitions rather than one party, one voice mechanisms.

Our system in the US is explicitly set up to be a two party system, and would make it incredibly difficult for any third party to actually gain ground. It has been successfully made such that it is nigh impossible to change it back. And I am well aware of our political history, thanks all the same. What it used to be doesn't matter. What matters is how things currently stand, and the way they currently stand our system is firmly a two party system, with very little allowance for third party candidates. The districted winner takes all system, on top of current social views, historical precedent, and the current balance of power in politics mean that unless we reform the system itself, making changes to the actual method in which representatives are elected, we can't do shit.
