Tolerance (From a Biased, Immature, Gamer Nerd Who Probably Needs a Life)

Ready for some controversy? I hope so, because that's what I'm going into. Hooray. I'll try to make this short, since I'm sure most people would rather read like they comment: quickly and with no thought. I'm just kidding, but I'm also not. Not with the current climate in the world, at the moment. Notice I didn't say "political", because I'm not just referring to politics. Anyways, here I go. Last chance to turn back.

Alright, let's not beat around the bush. At the moment I hate other people. And not in the "No one understands me" emo way. No, I mean in the "God why are we all so stupid" way. It seems this country (being a 'Murican) has three groups: Hate everything that isn't white, Christian, male, and familiar OR hate everything that IS white, Christian, male, and familiar. And the third group? Everyone else. For example, the presidential race last year was literally ultra far left or ultra far right. Fan-fucking-tastic. I'm not saying you SHOULDN'T be in one of those groups, I'm just tired of HAVING to choose one or be ignored.

Or how about the Internet? Either you're an SJW or a fascist dick. Great. I'm not here to prove SJWs wrong (though I'd love to) and I'm not here to prove the far right wrong (again, I'd like to.) I simply think that we've forgotten an important aspect of arguing and disagreement: reason, and common sense. And I'm not referring to shit like "There is no evidence for God" reason, I mean reason like: Saying hello isn't rape, not all muslims are terroists, not every cisgender is transphobic, not every anti-trump person was a Hillary supporter. I understand that people have always done this, but it almost seems like we've reached a point where extremism is the new normal. It shouldn't be. There is a reason why it's called EXTREMISM.

There wasn't a point to this, I just needed to vent to people who frankly don't care, and that's cool. I think more people need to speak out for reason. That's it. And no, I refuse to argue with anyone about any political group or figure. I won't, so please state your opinion and move on. I also know this will inevitably happen, but can we please try not to freak out? Thanks.
